Hotel Castle Mandawa

During our Rajasthan round trip we stayed one night at the Castle Mandawa Fort. Since it was off season, we almost had the hotel for ourselves and we enjoyed the stay very much and it was almost a pitty that we had to leave the next day to continue our round trip. The Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, we had dinner and breakfast. We always picked Indian food, also for breakfast; the later was on recommendation of the staff but we did not regret it. It was better than the western style dishes. The whole hotel is very nice (outdoor and indoor area) and we loved exploring the whole hotel or better castle using the narrow and winding corridors. The room was also very nice and the interior fitted perfectly to the impression living in a castle (but before I get my hands sore, please see the pictures). Everything was clean, also the pool - maybe it was also off season for the pigeons ;-) But we also saw people taking thoroughly care of cleaning the pool. All in all I can recommend this Hotel to everyone and specially to tourist who like heritage hotels. Again, thanks to the hotel staff for making our stay very comfortable and memorable!

Awesome property for a family or couple to stay. Excellent staff - Front desk, Housekeeping, F&B, and especially thanks to Mr. Abhishek for the lovely stay. Clean & Specious rooms & washroom. Delicious food. Overall excellent stay with a luxury hospitality.

We had planned to stay 2 nights but only did 1. Hotel is a beautiful but slightly faded feel. We had a spacious suite and I slept well. The castle is a beautiful painted haveli and the best base for Mandawa and the painted house of Shekawati. Breakfast was fine but dining room looked univiting for dinner. Pool had too much pigeon attention for us to want to use. We did get deck chairs when requested but no cushions. Best points: decor, location right in the heart of Mandawa, drinking coffee in the morning overlooking the castle square. This could be a gem.

Fancy looking hotel with spacious room and bathroom the size of average lounge in an apartment ! Room was very quiet too. No elevator, be warned if you are not young & fit. Bed is ridiculously high, great if I am over 6 ft tall. For this 5 footer, I need a stool to climb into bed. It was very comfortable though! Water turned cold after 1 minute, others in the group had similar problem. Power outage 8 times in evening!

The experience at this beautiful castle was amazing . The staff is gentle and polite and so is the behaviour of the general manager Mr Abhishek . He’s easy going and welcoming . The food tastes good and the view of the poolside and garden area is breathtaking. Highly recommended for a staycation .

Had wonderfull time in castle, food was amazing with full of rajasthani essance and flavor , staff was excellent. Room was superb feeing royal . overall stay was excellent, will strongly recommended to my friend and to others . Have used swimming pool ,nicely maintained and cleaned.
