Naara Eco Lodge & Spa

Always a pleasure!!! Naara never disappoints, the courtesy and hospitlity of the entire staff are remarkable. However, it seems that, besides the improvement done to the swimming pool area, some equipment needs to be updated and refurbished. The kayakis are obsolet and broken, need replacement. The restaurant is still au point!!! The lobster a Thermidor has been my and my wife's dish of choice for the first night. Highly commendable!!!

A great experience, super friendly and nice staff. We ate a wonderful and tasty fish. The only thing is that they could diversify the breakfast a little more and the 7am tea could be changed to afternoon tea. However, I have no reason to complain, the place is super beautiful and heavenly. A special thanks to Mrs. Camilia, Celina and Mr. Graciano. Very attentive

A beautifull accomidation which gave us the most relaxing moment. We regret we only Booked one night. We also reccomend the restaurant and the massage in the spa. If we had more time we definately extend our stay here. The drive to the accomidation is also very nice, but a 4x4 is needed. Otherwise you can arrange a transfer.

We enjoyed a night at Naara Eco Lodge during our trip through South Africa and Mozambique. Our itinerary only allowed for one night, and that was definitely too short. That says it all — Naara is a slice of paradise, with so much to offer: exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and a stunning, tranquil environment.

You'll need a 4x4 to drive the last stretch (about 20 minutes) on a dirt road. With a regular car and/or with limited ground clearance, the risk of getting stuck is very high. The beautiful and luxuriously furnished safari tents offer stunning views over the water. They also offer plenty of privacy. 24/7 electricity and hot water with ample water pressure. Large walk-in shower and an outdoor shower. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. In front of your safari tent is a fantastic terrace with a beautiful view. It's wonderful to wake up here with a fresh muffin and coffee. There's plenty to do at and around this lodge, including horseback riding. A lovely (unheated) swimming pool (infinity pool). Plenty of loungers and chairs. Breakfast is delicious, but it would be nice to have some extra toast or bread. It's difficult to get through the day on just one slice of toast with an egg. Dinner has a decent selection, but not everything is always in stock. The taste and quality are excellent. Tourist prices, of course, but not unreasonably high. A nice lodge from the South African border to Tofo or vice versa. The distance from the border to Tofo is not doable in a single day due to traffic, road conditions, and especially the corrupt police, who see every South African car with tourists as an opportunity to make some extra money. Tip: Never give up your driver's license; show it to someone.

A haven of peace in harmony with nature, elegantly decorated and with a considerate, attentive staff. Thank you Alberto and Pedro for removing the car from the sandy track, and thank all for your welcome and hospitality sense, especially Camilla. Gentle gestures like coffee and brownie lied on the terrace in the early morning made the difference. A long time that I had this amazing welcome and sense of humanity. Swimming pools and lake pier are gorgeous and well maintained in the fabulous garden and plants. A 10/10
