White Knight Hotel Intramuros recensioner

Location is good , just few minutes walk to the key site seeing location. I spent one night only, the next day can start to move around the city inside the walls. If you don’t want to walk , simply hop on the cycle or rent a bamboo bike 😉

Iy is a good location and nearby central. But the hotel and facilities are quite old.

The only thing going for this hotel is its location and crew. It's a budget hotel so don't expect much. To be fair, they have huge rooms but linen, pillows and towels have seen better days. If you want extra pillows, they will charge you about $2 for two pillows, which is too soft as well but better than just having one. It's an old structure so they have no elevator.

Had an amazing and peaceful time at the heart of Intramuros itself.

The hotel is great if you're actually going in the Intramuros area. It's very close to all the interesting places. As for the hotel, it really has value for money because it has strong wifi, there's more than one tv station, there's a lot of sockets for your charger, there's a mini ref, and there's even a blow-dryer! However, I would suggest for a pail and tabo and/or a bidet. I like that they allowed us to place our stuff on the hotel as we went around Intramuros and Ermita prior to leaving for the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

The area is magical at nights. I love it. The room is spacious. But... It's filthy. I caught a bedbug in the headboard. The floor seems like it's never been mopped. Absolutely filthy floors. The hall rugs look like they have never seen a vacuum cleaner. The food and drinks are absolutely on par with the state of cleanliness. Employees mostly do little more than socialize with each other. I think the owners have never had a look at the place and don't care. Which is such a shame. White Knight hotel has a historical background that cannot be bought. She has character as one of the oldest buildings in the city. It only needs an owner who loves the hotel and sees her for what she could be with a little bit of tlc.

Nice old hotel with amazing architecture.

First of all, we were disappointed with the service because of a massive mishap at the front desk. In the dead of the night, another guest opened our room and almost walked in on us until they noticed people inside. It turned out that the front desk clerk gave the guest the wrong key (a duplicate of our key they say is only meant for the staff). We thought they double booked our room but I’m glad it was just a mistake, but still it is a security and privacy issue. The indoor lock is also broken (see first photo) so the other guest was easily able to open the door after unlocking it. They also have a ₱2000 security deposit that we didn’t know was gonna be asked of us since it doesn’t seem to appear anywhere on the hotel listing in Trip.com. It was fine but I wish we knew sooner (wish it was on the listing). We had to withdraw cash at a nearby ATM (since we mostly pay via card or e-wallet and didn’t have much cash on us) and they only take cash for the safety deposit (we offered paying via GCash but they only wanted cash). However, the location is amazing. It’s near a lot of restaurants and cafe. The surrounding area looks great too. As for cleanliness and amenities, you get what you pay for (it’s okay for the price).

The place was nice and we had a fun stay.

The other room is loud and noisy.

Not clean. But if you want a cheap hotel this one's for you.

I booked this hotel because of its location near the Amosup Hospital and other offices of Seamen. I would definitely recommend a night stay. The hotel staff was accommodating. Thank you!
