The Alana Hotel & Conference Center Malioboro Yogyakarta by ASTON recensioner

This hotel has very good service, I as a client asked to be given a surprise for our anniversary, from checking in to checking out the hotel gave a surprise and this is all free.

Lil bit far away to the Malioboro street but the hotel location in the main roads, its possible to grab the taxi or 'becak' to explore. They have great rooms and they help us to located our luggage in our room when the room is ready to check in. Unfortunately the service really bad for hotel that have relation with Aston. I work in my room and the wifi is unstable, I need to connect with my own cellular to keeping stable during my work and my meeting. Worst things I call the restaurant for an assistance of cutlery items, in twice!! They not coming in my room, in the end I need to cone and put its by own. They have great breakfast but the restaurant not really big enough to services all pax during peak seasons. I wrote they give announcements to divide the guests into the 2 different time seasons to visit restaurants for breakfast refer to the rooms number, but its useless because they not inform us in the first time we came for check in. I cant recommendation this hotel, its Yogyakarta and we can find another hotel in the same range or even lower rate with greater services.

Overall is good (especially the breakfast) and clean, and the staffs're helpful!

Location is good. In the heart of yogyakarta city. This hotel must be improved in parking space.

This hotel is FANTASTIC! The staff here are so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. ROOM: - Beds and pillows are luxurious - Shower pressure is strong - Great variety of toiletries including a shaving kit AMENITIES: - Pool is great with a separate spa-like chilling area - Snooker table that’s 15k rp a game. - Gym is basic but sufficient with dumbbells up to 25kg - Laundry service that does same day for 20k/ kg (outside in the driveway. TRANSIT/ LOCATION: - Easy to get a GRAB to and from the Tugu Train Station. (Make sure you type in Alana Malioboro because there’s another Alana hotel 30 minutes in the other direction… speaking from experience here 😂🙈) - Short and cheap GRAB to jl Malioboro, Keraton and other tourist sites. - Walking distance to Jl Prawirotaman - Lots of local food and bakeries close by.

The breakfast menu n taste were excelent

Hotel decor was slightly outdated but had clean rooms. Aircon was not working in the common corridor but did not affect our staying experience. All in all recommended.

It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

Nice stay two nights at alana. Breakfast menu delicious n variatif, lot of parking area, clean and helpfull staffs. The room not so roomy, pillow only 2, better 4. The swimming pools also small, but i we loved the interior design of this hotel..simple and elegance. NICE..!

Good location, many good restaurant around hotel area, staff very kind, breakfast very good. The downside is the fitness center located outside the building (its not comfortable to use sportswear to the parking area)

I like the decoration of the room, how the hotelier always smile and politely say hi to me. The room is clean and neat. However, you should always turn on the exhaust fan, otherwise it will be quite smelly on the bathroom. Close to many tourism places. I will recommend this hotel for those who like the vibe of Jogja, without being in a crowded place but still close to.
