Definitely enjoying our stay. Checked in early and had to wait for our room. They took good care of us while we waited. Pool is nice and facilities clean. Don’t know how anyone could not be happy here. Wish it wasn’t so far away. The restaurant behind it had good food. Bought hamburgers last night and they were huge. Took Marathon Mermaid sunset cruise right here. It was very enjoyable.

The accomodatuons were absolutelly beautiful. The resort is well located on the Gulf. The staff is very experienced and friendly .

Getting to the hotel was fun and they allowed me to being my jet skis to go out o the water. The customer service was on par and did not disappoint. For a cheap hotel in the keys you can't miss out on this opportunity. Would be a shame to miss out the hotel rooms aren't the absolute best but they work.

The resort is beautiful and they really keep it clean and nice. Rooms are excellent and location is perfect. With the exception of a lousy bartender at the tiki bar, I would have given this a 5 star review. She made all around us uncomfortable and seemed miserable. Maybe it’s time for her to retire.

This property is surrounded by wonderful snorkeling options *but* you are not allowed to get in the water surrounding the property or wet a hook. There is no place to store or launch your kayaks so you are forced to use the dilapidated over priced kayaks next to the hotel which you cannot reserve. If you want to fish, again you have to pay big bucks to a charter. We were sooooo disappointed as we had such high hopes for this property. What’s the point of going to a keys hotel when you can’t swim/snorkel/fish where you stay!?!? Property was nice, bed & pillows were great, pool was nice. Room was a long, long, long hike from the front door which is the only way to get to your room from the remote parking lot. Room had NO view, just the side of a fence and bushes. First night starting to relax, watching the sunset around the Tiki bar the musical performer took the opportunity to spew political propaganda over and over which eventually ran us off. Mentioned it to the fella at the front desk and he just shrugged and said…you know you are in South Florida?!?

Just came back. What a great location and the views. Can't be beat. I would highly recomen the is place. 1 hour away to key west. and so many locations to see. the food is great in the area too.

First time here. The room was what we expected being Bluegreen owners. Everything we needed was there, just had to go shopping to get the food we wanted. The pool was heavily chlorinated but a descent size pool. We ate at Barnacle Barney’s one night for dinner and it was good. The bartender ran out of ice so no frozen drinks. Did the sunset cruise with Mermaid Charters and it was absolutely beautiful. Dorthy who works overnight needs some customer service training, she was very rude and didn’t know how to address issues. Who really saved the day and needs a raise is Dalyi. She is all about customer service and going above and beyond for the guest. I have worked for Marriott for over 23 years and I wish I had Dalyi at all my hotels. She really cares about taking care of the guest and comes up with creative ways to say yes. She brightens your day as soon as you see her. Full of smiles and suggestions. Do what you need to maintain her employment. She is someone you want to train to get into management.

This was our second trip to The Hammocks in Marathon. Such great weather, pool, tiki bar were awesome. Our room was clean and had all amenities we needed. We spent time relaxing and meeting new friends! Went fishing, snorkeling and swimming. One of our favorite resorts!

Had a handicap with a view on 1st floor. Daili was exceptional & staff were friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend this place
