Will definitely be going back there! Very relaxing, staff is very friendly.

this looks like a great deal and nice place but it was off season after labor day they said we were one of two guests registered the amenities were nonexistent not even a fridge in the room. they brag about the court yard pools and games none of which were open. wifi was on but no internet they said the service is terrible in the area. breakfast was alright if you like sour milk for your cereal and when i said something they got huffy when they brought new milk out. the main lobby that they say you can relax in was closed at about six o'clock due to staff of one leaving for the night. it may be great during the high season but be forewarned about off season

Had the absolute best time over the weekend. Wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere, beautiful scenery. They even provide a nice cold continental breakfast. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

The cottage we rented was not at all like the website NOT EVEN CLOSE. It was awful. When we first arrived I went into the hotel that sits in front of the cottages and thought that is where we checked in. No staff was in the lobby and went to look for someone to ask and found a very rude person working in a small dinning area that did fortunately direct me where the office was. To be honest what little I saw of this hotel should have also been the first "red flag" warning of what was yet to come. Another "red flag" after arriving we were told we were the only ones there (and there were many cottages in a row on the property). After stepping in the cottage that was shown to us by the owner, it was dirty, smelled, very very run down and again not all what is shown on the website. I know cetain websites do not always show what is the actual reality of places but this was not even close. Right away after seeing the cottage I complained and we were shown a "Villa". This was not much better. My husband I were so upset with this after traveling hours, we went to try to find other lodging in the area but could not. Our mistake was not asking to see the cottage first BEFORE checking in and paying the balance due. We came back ask for our money back and were given our check back. Not our deposit back. Warning...the owner wants a check not cc. I should have taken the advice from other Trip Adviser complaints and not gone there. We have called twice and requested a refund of our deposit since there were no other reservations so it was not like they were holding a place for us. No one ever answer the phone. You leave a message and no one calls you back. I did see the view of the lake from a distance, it appeared to be nice but we never got down that far to see it up close.

Dirty and smelled of vomit. Paper thin walls where you could hear others conversations clearly and a crying baby kept one of our group up all night. Terrible customer service. Owner refused to give us a refund for an unacceptable and unused room.

Safety Concerns! Terrible experience!! We came back from a day of pickleball only to find our room door wide open. Apparently the maid had failed to close it! This is an older resort. Mattresses are older and very uncomfortable. The place has a musty smell to it. When asked for a partial refund for our experience we were only offered an upgrade on our next visit. We won't be back!!

Great place to stay and just chill with family or friends in relaxing hotel and accommodations. Funny smell in rooms that we couldn't figure out but they were clean and mattresses seemed new. No refrigerators was one issue. The staff was nice. Great homey entrance. Pools were perfect. View was great!

Very clean nice room. love the hot tub in the room, friendly staff. The only down fall was not having a frig and microwave in the room. But you can rent one for 20.00 a day really think that they should be standard in every room.

We had booked a Villa for our kids birthday over Labor Day Weekend and paid a deposit. However, I had to relocate to Florida for work at the beginning of July. I immediately contacted the office and cancelled the reservation and explained the circumstances. They refused to refund my deposit, even though Labor Day weekend is an extremely busy weekend and I am sure they were able to rent the unit. I have tried to call since then and they have not returned my call. It would be nice if people in this world would show a little compassion. I would not recommend this resort to anyone and I am a true believer of what comes around goes around.
