Clean, well-kept retro motel on the bay. Quiet, serene, beautiful sunrise view across the water with honking geese to amuse. Owner/manager Saundra is friendly and professional, welcoming with a selection of snacks and drinks to keep you happy! Looking forward to a return.

For your money, you get a clean room. Small, but clean. No real privacy between rooms. We heard each and every phone call (both ways) from one side and the amorous couple on the other. Bathroom small, but functional. Two restaurants 2 mins either side serving good food and excellent gin. Wouldn’t use again.

This place is perfect because you get the island feel, without the island cost, and the town is only improving with a new grocery, restaurant/pub opening August of 2022, plus you have Ray's on The Bay, which has a Put In Bay bar feel to it. If you feel like going to islands, you can take a $12 cab and take Jet Express out of Sandusky. Sandra The Host was hands down the best Host I ever had; possibly because it was really only her, and she is very cool and helpful. Just keep in mind, it's a Motel, not Hotel, but they have everything you need including coffee in the office, and the view is something else! :) Most Pet Friend place I ever stayed too. They even had dog bowls and even blankets for dog for dog bed. Don't pass this up!! :) Thank you for my vacation!

This Motel was absolutely fantastic! It looks like an old hole in the wall 80s motel you would see on the side of the road and put in the middle of a town with a fabulous view of the bay. Once you open the door to your room the inside was beautifully remodeled! It kind of blew my mind since it looked a little sketchy on the outside. The staff is so friendly. The mattress was so comfortable, I slept the entire night for once! I will definitely be staying here again!! Highly recommend!

Always a little nervous booking old school motels. We would not hesitate to stay here. The room was very clean and are recently remodeled. No sketchy carpet here. The manager was awesome. Friendly, accommodating, and helpful. In the front rooms you can look right out your window at the bay. If you ride like we did the manager told us we were welcome to park on the walkway right in front of our room. Thank you for a great night. Jay Love
