Super 8 by Wyndham Marianna

Hotel was clean and located near stores. Also had truck and trailer parking

We stayed one night when we were too tired to make it all the way home. It was very late when we got to the Motel and we slept in so we did not participate in breakfast, but by far it was best experience for a motel I've ever had.

As others have stated, it looks like they started a renovation, then stopped. Room was in need of paint and a thorough cleaning. The floor is vinyl plank and had an unknown substance spilled. I wiped it up and the cloth was BLACK. Several towels (although on the self as if clean) were dirty and stained. The bed coverlet was dirty. The air conditioner blew cold air, but did not dehumidify so the room felt damp. The front desk staff was pleasant, although made excuses that the owner didn't have money to update the place. The breakfast was adequate. Stay somewhere else.

It was mostly good except tv was hard to figure out and had to get help getting it figured out, No way to know you had to adjust the input mode, it would not stay on the input needed for comcast to work. The Roku tv would not work otherwise as the tv was not connected to the internet which is required for the Roku to work. The 2nd MAJOR problem was the coffee maker was a K-POD model, there was NO COFFEE PODS TO USE, SO I HAD NO COFFEE IN THE AM. The coffee provided was for a filtered drip model. it was a long walk to the front desk to get coffee on top of having to wait for them to open breakfast at 6am.

Our hotel room was dirty...dirty vents, dirty and moldy ceilings, dirty peeling doors, and dirty walls with "stuff" on them. The ceiling was popcorn paint that was falling down on us. Every time we opened our door to the outside there were pot smokers on either side of us and on the stairs. There were screaming children running around in diapers outside whose parents were also screaming and hitting them. I reported this to the manager who did nothing. The noise was unbearable. Don't even consider stopping at this motel.

I chose Super8 in Marianna, Florida because they took pets/dogs. Nothing was written on their site that there was an additional charge for having a pet. I called the office the day before arrival & was told there was an additional charge of $10 for having a pet. When I arrived at the hotel, there wasn’t a $10 charge, but a $20 pet fee. I was also charged an additional fee for wanting a room downstairs. Go figure!! While the room was ok, it didn’t seem clean, especially baseboards, and the plastic sofa. I was happy to leave in the morning. Next time I’m traveling through Marianna, I’ll choose a different, hopefully better, place to stay.

Room was clean but older (king size bed). Laminate floor versus rug which was preferred. Room stuffy with A/C unit but we kept door open for a bit. We were able to park right in front of our door and was well lit at night. Felt safe. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants (walking distance). Had pool. Complimentary breakfast was minimal. Wyndham Baymont Hotel right beside it. We needed to rest for the night, so it worked.

You honestly can not go wrong staying here! I stay here consistently went on business trips. The staff are fantastic. Rooms are super clean and cool. Beds are like sleeping on clouds. Pool is nice and bright and clean. This Super 8 is right off of I 10 and walking distance to all the restaurants, Walmart and Lowe’s. Very safe! You will not be disappointed staying here!!

The hotel was filthy. The hair dryer had a layer of dirt and hair from previous person's that styed here before. The light fixtures had bugs in them. The walls had a layer of whatever it was on them. I am afraid to look behind the refrigerator. The bathroom door looked like it had been patched and painted by a 3 year old. We are traveling through the US and this is the dirtiest hotel we have stayed at.
