Hotel Himmelreich

Warning: Avoid this hotel at all costs! This was the most outrageous experience we have ever had! We arrived at Hotel Himmerlich in Mariazell with three children, including a 1.5-year-old toddler, and the experience was an absolute disaster. Upon arrival, we found out that the hotel could not provide parking, and they didn’t even offer any solution for street parking. The worst part, however, was the behavior of the operators – who, unfortunately, are rude Hungarians. They spoke to us in a shockingly disrespectful and condescending manner, essentially implying that we should feel grateful for even being there. When we raised our concerns, their response was, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” Naturally, we left immediately. Staying at a place run by people who have no idea what hospitality means was out of the question. This hotel is not worth a single cent! Any other guesthouse or hotel in the area would undoubtedly be a better choice. If you value decent treatment and a proper stay, steer clear of Hotel Himmerlich! This place is an absolute disappointment and a disgrace to the hospitality industry.
