Beautiful small hotel with spacious rooms, excelent food and very helpfull staff. We had half-board, breakfast buffet with standard food choice, dinner was quite rich and you could choose from variety of meals. There is social center as part of the offer, with table soccer, pikado board and library, so you cannot be bored. Zagreb iz 20 mins away, and lot of small places to visit around Marija Bistrica, where you can enjoy in excellent food and good wine. In hotel they have nice spa oasis which contains 2 saunas (turkish bath and bio/finish sauna), whirpool, and massage pool. Also there is resting area with heated chairs. I recommend you taking private spa, which is excellent option for couples. You get free beverage and whole area is only for you, so you can relax and truly enjoy the romance it offers. We also had couples massage, and it's perfect.

The hotel was good right in the middle of Marija Bistrica. The room was good and balcony was great. Bothroom was great. Everything was clean. Staff were very friendly and halpful. Unfortunately, food was quite bad, dinners and breakfasts. Quality of food at dinners was very ordinary. Breakfasts were even worse. Even items that were supposed to be hot, were cold and we were the first there at 7 when breakfast started. The second morning we opted for fruit and yoghurt only. Tried one of cheese pastries. I spit it out, which I never do. It was old and dry. The texture and taste were like it was cut up a few days earlier and set on the plate uncovered the whole time. It is beyond me how they can serve that. My wife tried the coffee and couldn't drink it. We will stay at the hotel again, but will not be eating there.

Stayed here for a wedding event. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The wedding dinner was excellent, not just because of great food but also due to highly professional restaurant staff. Located at the center of Marija Bistrica the hotel is highly recommended.

This hotel is at the level of a youth hostel, the maintenance of the rooms is poor, we received a room with problems and mildew, they did not want to change it because they were fully occupied, only after a day it was changed. In addition, they held a wedding until 5 in the morning in the courtyard of the hotel, despite all the complaints of the hotel guests, the receptionists did not give an answer or reference, the food is served stingily and is not tasty. The hotel is far from anywhere, in short those who don't want to suffer, it is not recommended!!!

What a lovely place👌👌 . Lush greenery as far as the eye can see….a flowing stream close by .It was drizzling steadily so didn’t venture out . The rooms were cozy , the food was good and all too soon we had to be on our way . ❤️

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von unserem Aufenthalt. Nachdem Check in wollten wir das gelobte Schwimbad nutzen, aber dieses ist nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Zwei Monate vorher hatten wir die Zimmer reserviert mit der Bitte einen Tisch im angeschlossenen Restaurant Akademia inklusive des 7-Gang Degustationsmenüs zu reservieren. Wir nahmen Platz im Restaurant und der Kellner sagte uns, dass es kein Degustationsmenü gebe. Da die Enttäuschung groß war und es keine Alternative gab, wechselten wir schließlich das Lokal. Das Verhalten war sehr unprofessional, da wir mehrfach betont hatten, dass wir uns dieses Menü wünschen. Dem Personal war der Fehler sehr peinlich, aber konnte jetzt auch die Situation nicht retten.
