Hotel Central Park

We stayed for 6 wonderful days in this very clean and well kept hotel. The friendly, joyful and motivated staff was one of the reasons for this impression. Also the very good buffet-breakfast (including freshly prepared eggs, omelets, crepes), with seating options inside as well as next to the pool. Our room ("junior suite") was facing the parking lot - but no problems with any noise. The (unheated) pool is nice as is the covered veranda. The hotel is located a slow 15 minutes walk to the endless sandy beaches of Marina di Pietrasanta. Three minutes less and you reach the nice downtown main street (most of the time pedestrian zone) with a supermarket and lots of restaurants. We liked especially the pizza @ i Pierotti and at Pizza da Osva. Recoodations for day-trips: The marble quarries @ Carrara and Marina di Carrara. And Viareggio (don't miss the shipyards in the commercial harbor area).

By being one of the very few seashore touristic destination within a few hours by train or by car from Milan Versilia doesn't usually boast a good quality/price ratio regarding hotels. Due to lack of alternatives, people from Milan Metro Area are basically forced to come here if they wanna have a quick weekend at the seaside. Hotels are usually simple, often old-fashioned and timeworn; nevertheless fares are generally high. You kinda get used to it. That's why Central Park Hotel Marina di Pietrasanta has been an unexpected and very positive surprise. Hotel was totally new, well designed and very well equipped. Our superior de-luxe room was great, wide, comfortable, clean and with a huge, fantastic terrace with amazing sunset view. Rooms command were fully digital, a tap was available on the terrace, towels (including sea-towels) and everything needed was available. Special requests, such as my girlfriend asking for a more advanced hair-dryer, have been promptly provided. Hotel services are great. There's a very modern and clean pool at ground floor and a jacuzzi and shower on a wide terrace on the rooftop, also working as courtesy space after check-out. Breakfast is abundant, delicious and fresh also natural fresh juices are available, including a fruit squeezer. A crepes maker man is in place preparing exquisite crepes on demand. Staff is very friendly, prompt and available. Bicycles for rent are available and convenient as basically the best way to get around Versilia. Location is fine, quiet, plenty of green around but however easy, as just few hundreds meters from Marina center and seaside right where main Pietrasanta Pier is. Fares are fine, especially considering there's a big and positive quality gap between what you get here and what you usually get at same fare in other hotels in Versilia.

I stayed here for 5 nights by myself to relax and work. It has been nothing more than absolutely fantastic. The place is so nice, clean, rooms are perfect, and the bed is like home. I can't give the staff enough credit for their work. They delivered the best service I could have hoped for. Already planned to come back next spring. This hotel is in a quiet part of Pietrasanta, about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the coast, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and speak English very well, the breakfast is a continental type, not your traditional English affair, but we found it very good for us, you can get crape’s, savoury and sweet, and egg / bacon cooked to order. The hotel has a car park, but has limited spaces, probably a max of 13 cars, we managed to get a space each night, there is a small roadside parking at the front of the hotel, and just a minute or two away walk, there is a large public parking space, which are free. A lot of the restaurants in the town do seem to do pizza and pasta of some sort, a lot of these are with sea food, we found enough choice for us. There is a McDonald’s about 5 to 10 mins drive away, if you get bored of pizza. We didn’t go in the pool, but it looked good and clean. The hotel is in good condition, and is kept very clean, as was our room. I believe you can get snacks during the day, and alcohol, not that we used this, you can get a coffee of your choice from reception, which we did and took up to our room. There is an area on the roof for bathing in the sun, and a hot tub, not that we used them. Our room was on the first floor, and consisted of two rooms and a separate en-suite shower / toilet room, and had a balcony which got the afternoon sun, the room had a safe, kettle, and small fridge.

We were recommended this hotel by family and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely family feel to the staff who make the stay perfect. We had a 10month old and they made such a fuss over him. The rooms are cleaned each day and fresh towels. You can hire bikes and the pool area is lovely. Breakfast has something for everybody and I still miss it all now. I cannot single any member of staff out as they were all fantastic, will definitely be back next year.

Piccolo hotel ben gestito e con tutti i comfort! Posizione comoda lontano dal chiasso, biciclette a noleggio disponibili, camere pulite e comode, bella piscina al piano terra e solarium sul tetto con vasca idromassaggio. Ogni mattina si fa colazione a bordo piscina con buffet e ottimi piatti cucinati espressi. Personale gentilissimo e sempre sorridente. Bravissimi!!!
