Acacia Palace

Non so con quale presupposto siano state date 4 stelle, moquette piena di macchie, tavoletta del wc rotta, il letto matrimoniale in realtà sono due lettini uniti, le tende sono talmente sottili che non riescono ad oscurare la camera,e tutto questo in una matrimoniale delax pagata 240€ una notte.. di certo con questo prezzo ci aspettavamo molto di più

We had a fantastic stay at the Arcacia Palace Hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a garden view. Our room was lovely, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bed linen counterpanes were good quality as were the towels, soft and changed very regularly. There is a handy safe in the room which costs 2€ per day. We booked with Jet2 Holiday, only double rooms featured to be booked but please note you can have a twin room as we did. We called Jet2 customer services for them to request this but they could not guaruntee our request so in addition we emailed the hotel directly quoting our booking reference and our request was sanctioned by them. our room (153) was on the left side of the hotel. The room's had a terrace area next to a large lawned area. The grounds of the hotel are fabulous. The outdoor facilities and gardens are maintained to a very high standard. The hotels Acacia Palace and Acacia Marina are sister hotels located directly next to each other, the grounds, facilities are between the two buildings and can be shared, it is a matter of only about 50 yards between the two buildings. The Arcacia Palace is newer than Arcacia Marina. The restaurant is located within the Arcacia Marina building. The rooms at Arcacia Palace are swankier but I would say that apart from that, staying at the Acacia Marina you equally benefit from the beautiful grounds, facilities, pools etc and the excellent buffet breakfast that is provided for both. The breakfast offerings encompassed, in my opinion all that you could ever dream of to have for breakfast including hot items plus egg dishes cooked to order (scrambled, fried etc). Our board was bed and breakfast, we only had the evening dinner there one evening prior to an early start the following day to go on a trip. The evening dinner was also in a buffet format, the cost 35 euros. We were extremely disappointed with what was on offer for a main course that evening and felt it certainly was not worth the cost. Whilst the main course fare was nit as expected, in our opinion, the desserts and cakes were delicious. Afterwards we thought we may have a drink in the bar til we noticed there is an additional service charge of (!) 2.50€. The two pools were lovely, plenty of good quality, comfortable sunbeds and also parasols. There is an area of beach, at the most, 200 yards from the hotel for use of both hotels guests, it has the same comfortable sunbeds. Also included in the cost is the use of the well-kept male/female WCs located in a small wooden building close to the hotel's sunbeds. Book and pay for sunbeds/parasol at reception, you will be given a ticket to take with you. The cost to use two sunbeds and a parasol is 10 euros (5€ each) upto 1.30pm. A full day cost is 20 euros (10€ each). Lifeguards/beach attendants are sat at front of the sunbed area, you give them your purchase ticket first before you select which sunbeds you want. Trèsjoli hôtel, moderne, propre, jolie chambre tons blanc et turquoise avec balcon, salle de douche moderne, grande penderie et miroirs à foison, grand écran TV.. La partie où je résidais n'accepte pas les enfants en-dessous de 12 ans, ll'autre partie oui. En 1/2 pension les petits-déjeuners sont ... pantagruéliques ! Du salé, du sucré pourtous les goûts et les appétits. Diners avec ... bien sûr des pates différentes chaque soir exquises et préparées avec grande gentillesse par un jeune homme ayant travaillé dans les Alpes françaises (il parle un peu français). Beaucoup d'autres choses bien sûr comme du poisson, etc ... Quant aux desserts ... fruits mis a part, des gâteaux délicieux et légers malgre tout ... oui ça existe ! Deux piscines une + petite pour la partie Palace et l'autre forme lagon pour l'autre partie de l'hotel, une superbe végetation partout et un SPA en prime avec massages.. La plage toute proche est de sable fin avec transats et parasols, surveillée par des sympathiques "bagnini". Je tiens à remercier l'ensemble du personnel : réception, restaurant (toute l'equipe dont Vanesssa, Nathalie, j'ai oublie les prénoms des autres, perdonnatemmi), le personnel de menage et de plage. J'ai passé 11 jours très agréables en partie grâce eux. Le seul bémol est le temps de trajet entre l'aéroportd e Catane et l'hotel (2 heures) mais l'hôtel ... n'y est pour rien ! Emportez de l'anti moustique. Allez manger une brioche à la glace Piazza Duca au "café dei fiori" !

Hotel posizione strategica. 200 mt e sei sul lungomare spiaggia per i vari lidi .la sera ottimo per una bella passeggiata fino al centro del lungomare dove in piazza ci sono tantissimi locali e ristoranti. Curatissimi gli esterni . Camere dotate di frigobar e caraffa per te’. Due piscine e due vasche idromassaggio. Colazione internazionale solita.molte torte e crostate.poche alternative light. Frutta freschissima.
