People there do their best to accommodate your every need and desire. Even though I believe it must not be easy to shift schedules for example. Food was very good and bountiful.

We have just returned from the lodge and can only reiterate the superlatives of other reviewers. Everything is so well organised and every detail carefully thought out. Marie and family are wonderful hosts, Emily and all the ladies are just delightful and we felt at home immediately we arrived, even after a very long journey. Nothing was too much trouble, the beds and pillows are super comfy ( very important after long days with very early starts) and the laundry service was a real boon. Rob, Lucky and Excellent were our guides and drivers from the Lodge and their knowledge and passion for the wildlife ( and spotting ability) made each safari and tour an experience we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We had never visited the Kruger National park before but it exceeded all our expectations and returning ‘home’ to the lodge and still to have beautiful animals wandering the grounds and being welcomed as friends by everyone was quite magical. Finally, Rob, I feel I should just say, I pray fervently that the rains will arrive soon,and thank you for caring so passionately for the animals and sharing your knowledge so generously with us.

the staff was very helpful; the activities were very well organized. the lodge was very nice and in a top location. the only flaw was the food, monotony (meat every meal for a week), not always good, poor in quantity and without the possibility of having an alternative. poor fruit and vegetables.

We have just returned from a five night visit and we couldn't fault it right from being met at the airport to the most exhilarating fantastic safaris, we did see the big five and plenty more, the staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Nice large, comfortable, clean, air conditioned rooms. Excellent home cooked food. Lovely warm swimming pool and a fantastic massage. We would definitely recommend and would love to return one day.

Exceptional Stay at Royal Kruger Lodge. Wonderfull welcome from the owners, the staff, the guides and even the visitors staying in the lodge. Everybody speaks together every night around a big table in front of a fire for a barbecue: the stories are about the animals we saw in Kruger Park. The guides manage to transmit you all the life of Kruger Park. Very confortable bedrooms, smart swimming-pool and the animals ( zebra, giraffe, monkeys....) which are coming everyday in the park of the lodge just at a few meters from us. Many thanks and Congratulations to all the team for this exceptional welcome.We felt we were in a Walt Disney film.

We spent 10 days and nights at the Roxal Kruger Lodge and Spa. It was a unique and wonderful experience. The staff and owners are professional, so kind and helpful. The service and catering are perfect. The safaris guides have a huge feeling and many skills when observing animals and knowledge about them, always in the respect of animal being. DIner at the Boma is an incredible experience. We warmly recommend this logde, a life changing experience.

We're really glad we chose Royal Kruger Lodge. The location is great, the staff are excellent, and the room/ facilities are comfortable and clean. They made an effort to give me vegetarian alternatives at every meal but for meat eaters especially, the food is plentiful and diverse. The safaris are incredible and Robert deserves a lot of recognition for how hard he works and the effort he goes to every day to give you the best drive with the best viewings. The photos by Matthieu are excellent and really allow you to sit back and enjoy the experience, knowing his photos are going to be of phenomenal quality and reasonably priced. He gives the lodge its USP. Having animals such as zebra and warthogs visit the lodge throughout the week was special and something we doubt we'll experience again. The majority of visitors are French and being British, it was isolating at times. The concept of a shared dinner, boma style, was really cool, but it's disappointing when you're asked to move to the end of the table and no one talks to you. This is just luck of who is staying whilst you're there, but I think the owners could do a bit more to help you feel included. Nevertheless, we had a lovely time and would recommend it.

Our four night stay was exactly what we wanted - well organised safaris, great location for Kruger, relaxing, great food, all inclusive at a reasonable price. The owners and staff made us feel part of the family for our entire stay. We saw the big five on our first safari. Highly recommend Royal Kruger Lodge and Spa.

Had the most amazing stay, knowledgable safari drives, amazing staff and location. Also the food was amazing every night, from a picky eater, every concern / change needed was offered and I didn’t have one bad meal, breakfast lunch or dinner!! Also the animals that roamed the lodge just made it even more special. Would recommend anyone to come here!
