Wow! The only word needed to describe our experience, from the moment we were greeted by the housekeeper on floor 5 - smiles and high fives- we knew we had made the right decision with Jet2. Then we entered the bedroom! Pictures do not do it justice. The finishings and furnishings were immaculate! More than enough mirrors, shelving, surfaces to put everything! There were even more than 5 hangars! Plug sockets, reading lights, ambient lighting… so much lighting! Hairdryer by the sink with a plug socket if you brought your own. There is a pillow menu and a room service menu (extra charges). FREE Fully stocked mini bar, and a kettle with coffee and tea selection. Super King bed with the softest sheets and comfortable mattress topper… the walk in shower with the largest rain shower head EVER… with a constant temperature and pressure. A separate toilet - always handy on holiday. TV with British channels, especially a FULL sports package (my fiancé was thrilled) for £10 a week or £15 for 2 weeks. WiFi… powerful!! Got it on the beach and on the jetty. Photos and videos online did not do the hotel justice. The main foyer is very “Dubai-esque”… those who know will understand. The 24hr bar is located here. Bar staff were on point. From the first drink, they remembered. Sometimes we didn’t even have to say anything. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but Ayseghul (I hope I’ve spelt it right) would always check on us if we were sat outside. Patisserie with fabulous chaise lounges, the seating, decor just captured the “Boutique Vibe”. The young lady working here always had a smile on her face. And the selection of pastries - from danish to croissants and cookies to carrot cake and brownies. I’m a pastry snob… and I was really impressed with the quality, flavour and consistency. Main dining room was beautiful! The colours, the different seating arrangements, and the entire buffet layout was easy to traverse and never felt crowded or chaotic. Such a calm atmosphere. A special mention to Gizem who greeted me with most beautiful smile whenever we walked into the dining room. The food selection was incredible! Breakfast, lunch and dinner… spoilt for choice. Always sampled something new and never disappointed in the flavours. Food in main restaurant was that good, we didn’t bother with the snack bar. Ala carte restaurant - seafood night - was simply divine! The flavours of each dish were completely different and artistically presented. The view of the stage for evening entertainment was the icing on the cake. (Do the 8pm seating and stay for the show). Even though we never hung around the pool, it was quite popular. Unfortunately all the sunbeds were crammed together like sardines. But the hotel has utilised the space efficiently, and there was never an empty bed. Entertainers were lovely - Coco, Danny and Katerina. Danny is the most INCREDIBLE musician!!! The bar men at the pool bar were fantastic! Branded liquor, Prosecco, frozen daiqui
