Manga Beach Hotel

The hotel is in a nice area of Maroantsetra next to the river and with good views. The service is very friendly, the food is very good and the restaurant is fine. The rooms are extremely spacious with lovely beds where you can sleep easily. The bathroom is ok, but everything needed is provided.

This is a good hotel in a very poor part of Madagascar. The rooms are clean, spacious and bright, with good views of the countryside. The choice in the restaurant was limited but the food was good; we could find local Madagascar cuisine there (which was rare). However, not every room was equiped with a mosquito net, there were few power sockets in the room and we could not open the French windows leading to the balcony. I would also suggest that each room be equiped with an electric kettle so that one would not have to buy bottled water; bottled water generates a lot of plastic garbage.

Manga Beach easily meets standards of a standard European hotel (clean, spacious, european WC - with no shower curtain!), Air Conditioning (to block out dogs that bark all night and early morning roosters), and a nice garden to walk in. They have a generator, so if you are beset by the regular city power outages, you still have power! Staff are friendly, location is great (facing the river, at the bottom of a major street you can walk safely on). A couple heads up: They don't take credit cards, so make sure you have cash to pay your bill Wifi is very good in the restaurant, but terrible reception in your room

Un petit bijou tenu par une femme formidable et un personnel aux petits soins pour les clients... Les chambres sont spacieuses, la propreté irréprochable,au restaurant la carte alléchante, les portions gargantuesques ... Et au surprise, les glaces faites maison sont addictives 🤗
