Enjoyed the stay, big sprawling resort. If you don't use the hotel free transport, costs can quickly add up when going out.

The hotel has an excellent location, the reception is good, and the breakfast is excellent, but the room furniture is normal, as well as the size of the TV screen, relative to the size of the room, as well as room service at a good and normal level

Énormément déçu de cet hôtel qui n'as rien d'un 5 étoiles que j'ai pût faire dans d'autres pays, le spa ne se situe pas dans l hôtel mais à 3mn à pieds, la piscine pas très éclairé odeur d humidité qui remonte, le sauna classique, le hammam classique, vestiaires vétustes, ascenseur pas entretenu, petit déjeuner buffet classique pas oufff, chambre sympa on vous accueil avec une assiette de fruits et de gâteaux orientaux mais impression qu ils ont remis un coup de peinture une légère odeur,la douche était bouché ça débordé un peu, etc etc... Bref je ne vous conseille pas cet hôtel au vu du prix et il ne mérite pas 5 étoiles.

Amazing people doing the entertainment, people with nice attitude and care for us. It was lovely to have them around doing the activities and having a chat with everyone…. They played a big part in our enjoyment in the hotel! If it weren’t for the animators, our time in Pickarbatros wouldn’t have been so enjoyable!

We spent four days and wasn’t enough ! Everything was just perfect and all the staff were kind . After joining the entertainment team it was hard to say goodbye for them, we would like to thank them and let a special mention for their hard work and their good energy , they really made our holiday . Lovely hotel, however we were not warned at any point from booking (last November) until visiting last week, that there would be building work going on, digging for a new pool I think. Two different genres of music were played each day by the pools, both really quite loudly to try and drown out the digger, dump truck and Jack hammers … unsuccessfully however. Buffet restaurant was great for all three sittings breakfast, lunch & dinner. However, very disappointing experience with the other two restaurants Pasta Cosi & the Mediterranean. We made reservations for both restaurants, one for Wednesday evening & one for the following evening. Turned up for the Wednesday booking, to be told no reservation had been made for us by reception, therefore we were turned away. The woman in the restaurant called the other restaurant and confirmed we had no booking there either for the following evening but that they had a table available that night if we wanted to go there. We did and were told we had a 10 minute wait, 45 minutes later we were finally seated to only be approached by a French gentleman guest and his wife, who was extremely rude, stating we had stolen his table! We were asked to wait in the dry bar and no staff were available to offer water or soft drinks! French people in the hotel seemed to be prioritised and quite often we were totally ignored at the bars on site. Buffet restaurant staff however could not be faulted, particularly Khalid who always had a wonderful smile and engaged in conversation and was very welcoming. Our request for top floor rooms, made at the time of booking, were completely ignored and we were told the hotel was full and therefore no alternative available. We were early on the day of arrival and check in was slow, but was twice as bad when we returned to get our room keys, a few hours later. Main outdoor pool was extremely cold, acceptable for the time of year admittedly, but the much smaller heated children’s pool, was so warm it was unpleasant! The indoor pool however was perfect as was the sauna. Plenty of room for improvement and better communication would be massively beneficial.

Once upon a time the hotel would have been amazing but is now tired although some amazing features remain Rooms as previous reviews, carpets are stained, beds are very hard and the shower/bath runs water all over the floor Main pool is in need of a deep clean! Food at the pool bar is not included in the all inclusive so Staff at pool bar are rude. They only want to serve guests who are paying The resort is huge but everything is closed, which is a shame The gym is very impressive, the range of equipment is good with all modern machines All of the staff, waiters, cleaners, gardeners were all very friendly and service at the main bars and restaurant was pleasant Food was ok, not outstanding, and became very repetitive . Also some snacks should be available during the afternoon , the need to provide your number for all drinks and at the restaurant was annoying The entertainment team were the best addition to the hotel, their friendly but not pushy attitude was refreshing. Trying to include all ages and nationality’s in there daily entertainment program.

We have just returned from a 4 day, all-inclusive stay. Good Points: Resort is huge! The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. The breakfast and lunch choice was great. The staff are so friendly and I can honestly say that I found everyone helpful and professional. The golf course is outstanding and very well maintained. The gym is better than most hotel gyms. Bad Points: Not enough sunbeds. The rooms and a fair bit of the resort are dated and have fallen into a state of disrepair. Our room was very dated and the carpets and curtains were worn and very badly stained. The shower didn’t drain away properly, practically flooding with every use. Worst of all, NO AIR CON. We contacted reception several times but we didn’t get it resolved… it was 36oC in Marrakech. We also booked a premium room with garden view. The room was not premium, 2-3 star standard at best and our garden view was looking at a storage area.

The hotel is situated on the golf course with some rooms having golf views. The room was very pleasantly furnished and equipped, with effective, yet silent, air con. The bathroom equally pleasant. The pool areas were busy and need more sun beds and umbrellas The variety of food on offer for each meal was excellent, sushi at lunch bbq plus hot food both lunch and evening, delicious salads and enticing, beautifully presented desserts. The golf course is 36 well maintained holes with the only real hazards being water. It was a lovely April golf holiday in the sun and we would love to return.

we're currently staying at PickAlbatross Hotel Du Golf Marrakesh So far the experience has been pretty mixed. Booked with easyJet - the journey and transfer were flawless. On arrival the reception team were welcoming and friendly, plus they got us in to our room 3 hours before check-in which was greatly appreciated . The room is big and very comfortable and quiet. The housekeeping is very good. The resort is being refurbished in stages but that hasn't been a problem. The food is pretty good, lots of fresh fruit and salad - the grilled meat is lovely. BUT the service is very hit and miss . The bar staff in particular are slow in the buffet and borderline rude. Today I waited with 2 guests for 2 beers, there was nobody serving and when the bartender eventually reappeared he plonked my drinks down out of reach without a word. The Zest bar staff wouldn't serve me just now and sent me outside to get a drink with a one word, " outside" where one station had no beer and the other station had a queue 10 deep. Having tipped the Zest bar staff all this week it won't happen again . Not enough sun beds especially when 2 guests decided to occupy 3 beds having taken one from a guest on crutches who was away for a short time. When challenged the 2 girls refused to give up the bed they were using for, " Their stuff" Manager took an age to get it resolved. Nice pool areas. In summary, it's a nice resort with a lot of positives but the service in some areas is definitely not 5 star.

Arrived at this hotel today and there was a relatively minor issue with our room. We mentioned it to reception and they could not do enough to resolve the issue. Showed us two alternative rooms, once we chose one the head of housekeeping checked the new room to make sure it was up to her standards. We’d already unpacked, so the concierge helped pack and moved all our things. Absolutely amazing service from all the staff 😎😎

The hotel has huge potential, it spans a huge amount of land, including a golf course. Works are currently ongoing and I’m sure in a year or so this will be a 5 star hotel. At the moment, although an enjoyable stay it isn’t yet up to the standard of the other Pickalbatros (PA) hotels we have stayed at & I would say more 3.4/4 star standard. Spa - We booked the hotel as it was a spa hotel and we like to include treatments in our relaxing holidays. The spa especially was a big let down, the pool was out of service ( understandable given work but we weren’t told on booking treatments ) the area is quite run down/ dirty, and in need of the rework currently being undertaken, however, the constant banging is conducive for the relaxing massage you book, neither is the therapists talking throughout. If the spa is to continue to be open during the renovations works maybe discounting the treatment prices and informing guests of the noise would be the right way to manage customer relations. Although we didn’t use the gym we were impressed by its size and amount of equipment. Food - The food was of a good standard, the pasta cosy italian restaurant was in a lovely setting and felt we had ‘ gone out from the AI setting’. I imagine the hotel will open additional speciality restaurants as the works develop, there is definitely the room for them. Rooms - The rooms are a good size and standard. They were clean and beds comfortable. We were on same level as the pool ( level 5) and the room smelt quite damp but I think this is because there is no natural sunlight. Staff - Generally the staff were friendly and helpful. There were a couple at the pool bars who seemed quite rushed and stressed but generally they were friendly people. Pools Pools are nice but they are freezing! I suspect PA will heat at least one as part of their takeover renovations. Will definitely book to come back in a couple of years to experience PA at its best in this hotel.
