Wonderful staff, always friendly and welcoming. Gave us an upgrade on the first night of our trip! Central to all the markets and firm but comfy beds. Great coffee and breakfast service each morning in their beautiful atrium. If you love cats they may join you in the room if you leave your room windows open lol (not specific to the hotel - the area has hundreds of cats around ha ha).

We cannot say enough good things about our stay - especially the warm and heartfelt welcome from Hassan. The food was absolutely delicious and the rooms were beautiful. Highly recommend. Special note - they can do your laundry if needed (small and reasonable fee), very helpful for those traveling with carry on bags only.

We had a great stay over at this Riad. The staff were super helpful and friendly, welcoming us with tea and refreshments after a late flight which was really unexpected. The rooms were simple but sufficient. Breakfast was plentiful and at a time of your choosing, with room service available if required. The wine and beer were excellent and also very reasonably priced. Would absolutely recommend.

I regret to share my disappointing experience withRiad Djemanna. Due to a flight cancellation, we were unable travel to Marrakech, yet they refused to refund the charges. Despite our attempts to explain that the situation was beyond our control, the hotel remained inflexible and uncooperative. Our messages went unanswered, and it took contacting the booking platform three times to receive a response. Ultimately, we were told that we had to pay, despite the impossibility to travel. Such a lack of understanding and poor customer service is truly unacceptable.

Welcoming and quaint but not the highest standard. Our bed was a double rather than queen and the room very long and narrow and tucked away on the ground floor. I think if we had had a room on an upper floor looking into the courtyard our experience would have been greatly improved. We were not provided with a map or information on the area. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Unfortunately, I just recently had very bad experience at Riad Djemanna. I booked two rooms for 5 nights in January, a few days later I changed it to 4 nights, all by email. When we arrive at the Riad at the end of March, I ordered transport to the airport 4 days later, which, in addition to the mentioned email, clearly indicated that we would be leaving there. Furthermore, I ask that we settled the bill the evening before we had to leave, again an indication that we would be leaving after 4 nights. As we came to pay the night before we had to leave, we were presented with a bill for 5 nights, which we did not want to pay, as the change from 5 to 4 nights happened a few days after the booking in January and 2 months before we arrived. As we did not want to pay for the 5 night, the manager became very very unpleasant, threatened with the police and we were not allowed to leave the Riad. This despite the fact that I found the email which clearly showed the change from 5 to 4 nights already in January. We said that he would more than welcome to contact the police, which he did not want to do anyway. But threatened again that he would make sure we did not leave the Riad or the country before we had paid. My friend felt very very unsafe, which is why we ended up paying for the extra night. In addition, it must be said that on the first day we overheard a conversation also concerning the payment of an extra night. Unfortunately, one could get the idea that it is a common practice by the manager, but a very unsophisticated and unpleasant way of making money. So, since there are lots of lovely Riads in Marrakech, I would strongly advise against using Djemanna, which is also very, very worn down i.e. a lot of things don't work, such as water and toilet.

Do be careful with this Riad. We made a reservation for 5 days approximately 2 month before arrival, but only after a few days we unfortunately had to the reduce the stay to 4 days, which we mailed to the Riad. Upon departure the manager refused to have received the change, even though we could fully document, and was furious and even threatened with the Police if we did not pay for the last night - which we then did. We even offered to do half-damage, but also that he refused. We should have know this could be coming up, as we overheard a similar conversation the day at our arrival. The Riad itself looks better on the internet than in reality. It is pretty worn down, the internet is unstable and so is the hot water. Do be prepared to take a cold shower! Their Mint-Tea is good - if they don't forget you have ordered it. There are plenty of good Riads in Marrakech - I advise to choose another.

I took my daughter as a birthday treat for a week to Marrakech. Stayed at the Riad Djemanna and i cannot recommend this Riad more highly. Food ,location , staff all super. Happy to organoise trips and transfers ,very welcoming. The only draw back is we had to leave!!

Very clean, pleasant and well presented Riad close to the markets and walking distance from main attractions. The staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful, also very humble and dedicated. We were expected with tea even if we arrived mid-night, they bothered to help and assist. The place gets constantly cleaned and the breakfast is tasty and freshly made, with delicious coffee Thank you
