Riad Jardin Secret

This hotel is an interior designer's dream. Every room, every corner was carefully thought through and designed beautifully. I only managed to stay here for one night but truly enjoyed the riad and its wonderful atmosphere. The location is also excellent and in my favourite part of the medina and very easy to navigate. You can find the street this riad is on very easily and safely compared to other places I've stayed in the medina. I also enjoyed the roof top as there is a very cute crow's nest type seating area from which you get a fabulous view of Marrakech and can enjoy the sound, sights and buzz of the city. One improvement I'd suggest for the hotel is to speed up the service at breakfast and double check the orange juice served at breakfast. My husband and I had a taxi booked to go to the airport but had to ask the host to speed up as we were waiting for 20 minutes for food. The other thing to mention is that we were served a rotten glass of orange juice. (It was freshly squeezed but the cook had accidentally used a rotten orange and we found little larvae crawling in both of our juices). We let the hotel manager know but she wasn't sure what the word "larvae" meant. Please don't let this put you off your stay at all. We were unlucky with that one orange that was squeezed - the riad overall is simply gorgeous! Also it's worth mentioning how brilliant the service was for airport drop off. The kind host helped us with our luggage and accompanied us straight to our taxi (there's a secret pick up area) that means you don't have to go back into the heart of the medina with your luggage - yay!). I will definitely be back! Thank you

Perfect in every way! All our needs were met, the staff are so kind, friendly and attentive. Whatever we asked for was never too much trouble. We were assisted with all the bookings we had made outside of the Riad and everything was made as smoothly as possible for us. Everything about this Riad is beautiful, from our room to the rooftop and those delicious breakfasts. Shoutout to Youssef for being our go-to and for making our stay so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

The design at this riad is exceptional and the service has a very warm and personal feel. Thank you to the whole team, especially Youssef and Ismail for meeting our every need. 1. You will want to spend time in this Riad, there are some gorgeous and comfortable places to relax in including a rooftop with a decent view, some indoor places and even a fireplace area. Comfortable couches throughout 2. The comfort of guests has been clearly considered in every aspect, eg books to read scattered throughout, blankets on the rooftop, plenty of places to hide away from other guests 3. Thank you for doing all our laundry for us! 4. Breakfast is good, though particularly how flexible the staff are to allow us to have breakfast wherever we like 5. Very small number of guest rooms Highly recommend the suite with fireplace. Note some of the rooms do not have windows except into the atrium so they can be a bit dark- the material of the walls though seems to handle humidity ok. The riad has installed heavy curtains for privacy, which is a nice touch. External windows are not normal for riads- but there are plenty of open spaces to enjoy in the riad if you want some sunlight.
