Dar Mo'Da

My wife and I stayed at Dar Mo´da for three nights about 2 weeks ago. We had an unforgettable stay as it is a true oasis of luxury and tranquillity in the heart of Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm and caring service made us feel right at home. Mounaim and Mohamed went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, arranging everything from airport pickups to reservations of restaurants and activities Their attention to detail was impeccable as well as their friendliness and kindness. The service and affection of all the staff truly stood out. They anticipated our needs and ensured that everything went smoothly, making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We stayed at the Annex Suite which is like being in your own little luxury house within the Riad. Everything was perfect, very luxurious and the decoration was amazing, with a lot of attention to detail. Breakfasts on the roof were a highlight every morning, with incredible local food and stunning views of the sun rising. Usually before going out for dinner, we enjoyed a tea / beer on the Roof-top terrace. We also had dinner one night on the roof which was really good as well. We were lucky to meet David, the owner, who stayed at the Riad for a few days. Meeting David tells you all about why this place is different and special. It was a true pleasure. We highly recommend this Riad to anyone planning to visit Marrakech. The exceptional hospitality and service of the staff made our stay truly memorable, and we look forward to visiting again. We stayed at Dar Mo’da for a long weekend and it was just perfect. It’s like having your own home in Marrakech but with the added benefit of the warmest and most caring service you can imagine. Attentive when required and discrete when all you desire is some peace and quiet. Always friendly. Cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking to explore Marrakech but return to an oasis of luxury and calm each evening.

I can’t say enough good things about this Riad. The service by Mounaim and his team are incredible. It was like having our own personal concierge to help us with our excursions, taxi drop offs, currency exchange, food, etc. It’s gorgeously decorated and is an absolute oasis of calm and quiet just a few steps from the streets. I think having a place like this really made our stay in Marrakech special. They will also make a great dinner for you if you give them enough time to prepare. It’s also in a perfect location just across the street from the Secret Garden. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

AMAZING. It is very rare I leave reviews, unless I feel they are truly deserved and… wow! We could not fault our stay! Dar Mo’da is the most beautiful, calming riad in the perfect location. The interior is stunning and the whole place is immaculate. Mounaim was wonderful and looked after us so well - nothing was too much trouble and he gave us great recommendations along with also booking taxis, restaurants and day-time activities. The whole team were so attentive, kind and made us both feel so at home. This was our first time in Marrakech and we will most definitely be back. And there is nowhere else we will stay! So many positive things to say about this brilliant place. The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous and we had a lovely room on the roof terrace that made it feel like we were in our own private hotel. Every morning we stepped out on to the terrace and were served a delicious continental breakfast with some local delicacies as well. But what really makes this place so special are the small team of caring staff at Dar Mo'da that go out of their way every day to make you feel special and genuinely wish to help in any way they can. Mounaim the manager was super helpful and booked dinners and attractions for us and gave us some great tips during our 4 day stay. If you are visiting Marrakech then this place should be top of your list. You won't regret it. We certainly will be back for another Moroccan adventure!!

Élégant space with a gracious, dedicated staff makes for a thoroughly relaxing stay in the midst of the action. Delicious breakfasts and gorgeous sunsets from the spacious yet intimate roof terraces. Be sure to arrange in advance lunch or dinner prepared just for you - better than any restaurant. Cleanliness, quality and quiet are priorities for us. This experience was exactly what we needed.
