⭐ **1 Star – Never again this Riad!** ⭐ I stayed at this riad as a group leader, guiding **16 women** on a trip – and what we experienced was nothing short of **unacceptable** and **highly unprofessional**. One evening, the owner **Peter** brought a bottle of red wine to our table, claiming it was a **gift from a mutual friend** of his and one of our travelers. That seemed like a kind gesture – until **check-out**, when I was suddenly **charged for that “gift” bottle**. And that was just the beginning: Despite having clearly communicated our **check-out time of 07:30** (we were **17 people** with a fixed departure at 08:00 for a 10-hour journey!), **no one was present at reception**. We waited until **07:50**, when a young and clearly unprepared staff member finally opened the front desk. The experienced manager **Abdullah**, who speaks German, was nowhere to be found. The check-out process was a total mess: 🔹 No invoices 🔹 No receipts 🔹 Cash only 🔹 Everything was handwritten 🔹 No transparency whatsoever As I finally came to the desk – already seriously delayed – I was suddenly **handed a phone**. On the line was Abdullah, telling me I still owed money from **October**: one bottle of wine and a beer. I had **fully paid** back then (again: no receipt, no proof, cash only), and yet I was being **accused without evidence** – during the rush of departure, in front of my group. Outrageous! Out of pressure and to avoid further delays for my clients, I paid – but let me be clear: 👉 In over **31 years of leading international travel groups**, I have **never encountered such disorganization and questionable practices**. 🔴 No transparency 🔴 No professionalism 🔴 No accountability 🔴 Cash-only policy without receipts 🔴 Disrespectful treatment of guests I will **never return** to this riad, and I strongly advise all travelers, tour guides, and travel professionals to **stay away** from this place. If you value **integrity, organization, and respect**, this is **not** the place for you.
