Please please please don’t stay here. This is not a hostel. They have a whole setup where people steal your items. We lost about $3,000 in total. They don’t give you keys to the lockers and they have other people stay in the other room to purposely steal from you. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms don’t get cleaned and we’re disgusting. On top of that we all got bed bugs. DONT STAY HERE. It’s a scam.

Could not sleep, too hot , small room with no windows, boiling hot, not even a small fan at 30 degrees sweeting all night. Bed was uncomfortable, the bunk bed was way to small and low, if not careful you will hit your head. Nice view of the city, cheap accommodation, I would not recommend to stay for more than 1 night if there is no other options. At check-in you have to go to the restaurant, they make you wait because they are busy, stuff were ok but the way they check people in is very disorganised, they don't know who is using which bed and send people all over the place. No lock for the bathroom, slow checking in at the restaurant, no lift, had to go up 5 floors in the heat, no AC, no fan, asked for one they say they don't have. poorly managed, small rooms boiling hot, no towels, broken toilet seat. no WIFI in the room. lockers didn't work.

FUYEZ !!! PUNAISES DE LIT / BED BUGS Logement insalubre avec une infestation de punaises de lit (sans mentionner les squatters, le manque d'hygiène, l'absence d'eau chaude, etc.) ! J'en suis ressortie avec plus d'une centaine de piqûres sur l'ensemble du corps et ai dû jeter l'ensemble de mes affaires pour ne pas risquer de contaminer mon appartement. Pour couronner le tout, la direction s'est montrée non coopérative en refusant tout remboursement/dédommagement !

De passage à Marseille voir OM/Benfica, j’ ai choisi l’ hostel l’Ambassade Bretonne. Accueil très sympathique. Rapport qualité/prix nickel.
