a little far from the main areas, but the bungalows are super cute and cozy 🥰🥰🥰

Went for a long weekend in the sun on 7th February 2025 - 10th February 2025. This is our happy place, very chilled vibe, large, warm pool and a great little pool bar for drinks and snacks. Very friendly and welcoming staff on reception. We try to book at least once a year during the UK winter time. Free shuttle bus and about half an hours walk to Melonares.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The bungalows are simple but perfect. If you don’t mind it being very quiet and a bit of a walk to either the beach or Playa del Ingles, this is a superb resort. The terraces are large and the gardens are beautiful. The maid comes 5 times a week and food at the pool bar is cheap and cheerful. There’s always loads of space by the pool. The only real downside is the twin beds which have a habit of wriggling apart.

Another lovely stay in these wonderful bungalows. Listening to the birdsong while relaxing is what we come for as we both lead busy lives working hard, so we really value the down time. Bungalows cleaned nearly every day, staff always helpful and accommodating as we asked for south facing bungalows and a late check out which we got. We used the supermarket at faro 2 and also popped across to the sister hotel for bread ect as we were self catering which suited us fine. We loved sitting on our spaces patio in the sun having breakfast and lunch at our own pace. I wish there were more English speaking TV channels as I watched the snooker for 12 days in German lol. We love sandy golf this is our 3rd time here twice at sandy golf and once at green golf. We will come back time and time again because of how peaceful it is. Thank you so much , you have such a special place here. Ps there was work going on in the complex that looked like air con going into all the bungalows but they kept noise to a minimum and didn't disturb us at all.

OK so if you like 5 star luxury, scroll on by. This is a realist review of our stay. We are here now. The bungalows are a little dated but look beyond the old kitchen cupboards slightly dated furnishings and you find a clean self catering accommodation. Rooms are cleaned 5 times a week. They are set in beautiful gardens. The pool is lovely, clean and warm too. The pool bar is adequate and does the usual fare. The staff are great from the pool bar to the cleaners and the reception staff are incredibly helpful, especially Samuel. We found it great value for a weeks holiday booked via Easyjet. Yes, it's a little out of the local centres but a free shuttle bus or taxis (around) €6 will get you to Playa del ingles or Maspalomas/Melanores. If you like peace and quiet and not looking for all inclusive but happy with self catering and a good deal this place ticks all the boxes.

The stay at Sandy Golf was excellent. The accommodation shouldn't really be called 'bungalows'. They're more villa/chalet like. Immaculately clean and cleaned several times a week with towels and beds linen changed very regularly so great service. Nice little patios. The sister hotel, Green Golf, offers a great breakfast, buffet-style. We booked breakfast only but did eat dinner several times. Lovely varied food and themed menus. (Other nights we took a taxi to Masapolomas and ate away from te seafront which was very busy and expensive. Check out the 'side street'. More 'taverna-style', quieter and more reasonably priced. The taxis extremely efficient and reasonable too.) Staff very friendly and warm at the hotel. The poolside both at Sandy Golf and Green Golf first class, beautifully designed and pristine. We would certainly stay there again. So thank you to Co-op Travel, Jet2 and all the staff at these two hotels.

My partner and I stayed for a week with our 3-year-old son and the whole resort was a dream. SO QUIET, black-out curtains in the bedroom, beautiful garden, immaculate pool and the amazing extra to have a free bus take you to the beach (10 minutes away) several times a day. The private patio is wonderful for morning coffee and dinner; there is everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal. Reviews have pointed out the “dated décor” in the apartments and yes, it is simple and the beds not ideal (we had two single ones instead of a double and kept sliding about the floor in them) but we couldn’t have cared less and slept deeply and restfully. The employees are super friendly and we had staff cleaning our apartment every day (and lovingly arranging our son’s teddies on the bed). Plenty of beautiful cats about to feed and cuddle! Not busy at all when we stayed, hardly any families and predominantly pensioners from all over Europe which contributed to the chill vibe. A far cry from horrible tourist traps in Playa des Ingles or Puerto Rico. We will be back!

We went for a few days rest and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. Lovely and tranquil, well kept gardens, plenty of sunbeds available around an inviting pool. Bungalows are basically furnished but there is everything you need. Our accommodation didn't have air con but it wasn't needed. However, I would book a superior bungalow if staying during summer. The cleaners do an excellent job. All staff friendly and accommodating. Pool bar excellent value. Use of sister site Green Golf across the road for supermarket, restaurant and entertainment if required, otherwise a quiet area. Free shuttle bus to beach worked well. We visited a couple of restaurants in the empty shopping centre about 10 mins walk away. I would happily book here again for some winter sun and to escape the madding crowd!

Lovely bungalows set in beautiful gardens. Large outdoor patio with plenty room to relax. Great place for a relaxing holiday. Good sized pool with lots of sunbeds. Staff are very helpful and friendly. A bit from town and beach but free buses available to beach and nearby Playa del Ingles. Would definitely return.

This was our third time to the cordial sandy will not be our last hopefully at our age. I come here for the peaceful of the place. A special thanks to all the staff for their support and hospitality.Nothing is too much for them.A special thank to you Samuel hope to see you soon.

Just back again from 4 weeks at Sandy Golf Bungalows. The rooms are good sized and outdoor patio area excellent. Everything you need for cooking in and easy within reach restaurants. We just Love it here...all the Staff are so helpful and friendly and work hard to make it a great place to come to. We wouldn't go anywhere else in this area. Can't wait to come back....see you soon.

This is a beautiful and well placed bungalow complex! There are so many flowers, trees and fruit growing on the site, it makes you feel separated and in your own little world. Having the outside veranda, which is massive, and having small trees/hedges to block you from the 2 bungalows opposite, really makes you feel like you’re staying in your own villa. It’s so peaceful here, really clean and well kept. You always see housekeeping, maintenance and gardeners keeping the place clean and well maintained. The pool is great, and just what you need to cool down. The onsite bar is excellent and really well priced. There is also an laundrette here, which is reasonably priced! Across the road there is a supermarket, restaurant and more pools at the sister hotel. This hotel is definitely a bit more noisy. I made friends with several cats, all really friendly. All of the staff have been super friendly, always smiling and always happy to help. There’s everything you could need in the kitchen. The fridge has a small freezer compartment, there’s a kettle, saucepans, frying pans, big salad bowl, lots of cutlery and cooking utensils. Really really lovely, peaceful and relaxing place. I am shocked that this is a 2 star complex. It does not feel like you’re in 2 stars at all. I will be back! Really enjoying my stay here (I still have 1 more week!). I have already recommended this place to family and friends.

We arrived at 11 pm After a long flight from Glasgow we had to check in across the road at green golf where we stayed last year. We already knew this and had brought water for a coffee and a sandwich. A welcome bottle of water would be nice( hotel take note) it would have made things even more welcoming. Check in was quick and smooth, and our request for a bungalow that was away from reception and got sun all day was accommodated (thanks for this it was appreciated). When we arrived the bungalow hadn't been cleaned properly but as it was 11pm we waited till morning . Our complaint was dealt with swiftly with cleaners and management showing real professionalism. We were given a free bottle of wine( we don't drink alcohol but the kind gesture was really appreciated. So first impressions weren't as good as we experienced last year at green golf as their bungalows consisted of 2 floors. What made this hotel so special was the peace and quiet and the wonderfully patio we spent a lot of time on eating our lunch and sunbathing. It has a table and chairs, a sun canopy and sunbeds. The amount of birds and even hedgehogs which visited us most nights were amazing. We grew to love the sandy golf , the cleaning staff ( Sandra) were top class who always chatted to us every day and was a hard working lady, as was all the hotel staff who always made a point of talking to us ( this goes a long way to making you feel valued). We knew our way around maspolomas and the surrounding areas as we had visited last year. We spent time in mogan at the market which was lovely , also olaya del ingles and melarones and made a point of going inside the lighthouse to educate ourselves on the history. We went bed and breakfast same as last year but if we are going again we would go self catering , nothing wrong with breakfast but we found that we could have eat breakfast or lunch on our porch and that would have been less time consuming than going across the road for breakfast . In fact we missed it 3 mornings out of 12 as we just wanted to chill and take our own time. We got a late check out ( thank god) as our pick up time was 7pm , the hotel wasn't busy when we were there. Sandy golf is a special place which is really relaxing and so full of trees and flowers you really get the feeling you're in a really nice forest. We will be back and found it so so relaxing .

Very quiet hotel , good sized room’s, very large swimming pool, pool bar and restaurant available during the day, room’s clean regularly, friendly helpful staff. You can also use the sister hotel green golf ‘a facilities, green golf also has a small reasonably priced shop. Sandy golf is close to maspolomas beach and plya de ingles
