Palm Oasis Maspalomas

Family of 4 (kids 10&12) booked this going by previous reviews, cannot fault these apartments, cleaned everyday apart from a sunday , spacious and everything you need. Place was spotless, surrounding well kept too, pool(2x) were a great size and plenty sun beds, very chilled place to be, yes people were out early(about 10mins before 830 opening) to get their beds but going by my experience being there 15th-29th there was only a handful of people waiting and no mad rush for beds, first day we arrived in afternoon we got beds no problem at 2pm. Staff were super friendly , shout out to reception staff in particular (one with long black hair and other with shoulder length blond) didn’t get their names but went above and beyond , birthday card etc 🙌 we ate once in buffet style restaurant , was average but expected for 3 star hotel, got takeaway pizzas one evening after a day at water park, they were 😋 . Area around apartment’s , not too much about, couple of restaurants , chinese across the road was fab, went twice, water park 10mins & 7 euros in taxi, karting was same , holiday world, 15 min walk for bowling 🎳, taxi to playa de ingles 10 mins 7 euros (mini golf there too)so plenty to do not far to travel. If you love shopping there are a few designer shops taxi ride away too….. if you love Zara like me that’s only a 15 min walk from apartments , we will definitely be back sometime and recommend to friends

Lovely hotel that we have previously visited in 2017. The stay certainly didn’t disappoint. Beautiful pools, not too crowded, very clean and all of the staff are truly wonderful. We have booked directly and the hotel was helpful with arrangements for additional beds etc. The lady at the reception was fantastic and did her best to ensure the whole family got showered before the flight despite being very busy and the usual shower rooms being out of use due to improvements. Rooms were lovely and clean. The only slight issue are people doing the morning ‘pool - towel run’… (one was there on the clock at 7:15 waiting for the pool to open at 9:30🙄. When we stayed in 2017, the unused towels got cleared by the pool staff - this didn’t happen this year, which is a shame. Overall will definitely go back and would confidently recommend it!

Rooms are quite basic but they have air con over summer but the restaurant is great and the pools and pool bar are fantastic.Add the fantastic weather and you’re guaranteed a great stay.The hotel is a very short taxi ride to the beach and shops etc,so if you want a nice relaxing holiday this place is perfect.The staff are also really friendly and very genuine,they really do appreciate you being there.

Stayed as a family second to last week of May. We arrived after 8pm and met Diego at reception who was lovely professional and informative. We were given all the information needed to check in he also told us there was a QR code we could scan in our rooms if there was anything we didn’t remember. Check-in was really easy and smooth. We made our way to our room (even though we had a map )and got a little lost but one of the staff found us and took us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the apartment was (we stayed in a 1 bedroom). The view from our balcony was stunning we could see holiday world the sand dunes, light house and the sea. The cleanliness of the apartment was 10/10. The cleaning staff are fantastic. We left dishes in the sink one day and they even cleaned them which was so kind. My daughter loved how her PJs were arranged as a bow on the bed. All the staff are friendly and they greet you as they go by. We booked breakfast with our room and we went at different times sometimes at 8am other times at 10am. Obviously 8am was quieter but even at 10am there’s still plenty of choice. Breakfast was fried eggs sunny side up scrambled eggs boiled eggs Spanish omelette beans sausages bacon pancakes etc. Fresh fruits yogurts lots of different types of breads cold meats and salmon. Great selection of pastries too as well as hot beverages and juices. We were a fan of the pineapple juice. We didn’t eat dinner as we cooked and lunch we were usually outside. The pool bar menu looked great though. The kitchen is well equipped and you can easily cook meals. There’s a complementary bottle of water in the fridge too. I read some reviews that said the hair dryer wasn’t powerful. We bought our own which was a waste of luggage space. The hair dryer in the bathroom works fine. It had three settings cool 1 and 2, we loved the shower which my daughter called the human car wash the bath was fantastic too as you could turn on the jets like a jacuzzi. There is an onsite laundry room open 24/7 with washing machines and dryers free powder and fabric softener. But to be fair each balcony has a laundry drying rack and in the sun clothes dry within a day. The hotel was not overly busy while we were there maybe due to the time of year. The children’s pool was being refurbished to reopen before the end of May. But the main pool was fine and the hot tub was never overpacked or full. Plenty of sun beds even if people didn’t follow rules not to put out beach towels there were many beds to use so it wasn’t a problem. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We noticed the cats on the first day and third and only ever saw one each time. They don’t bother anyone. There’s an onsite supermarket and a spar walking distance away. They are also building an Aldi just opposite the hotel. There’s some restaurants too walking distance to the hotel like 3mins walk. There is a free shuttle bus to the Masplomas beach where the light house is and the sand

I have been going to Palm Oasis since I was 10 with my family. Now at 28 it is equally as good as it was then. The staff are extremely friendly and specially the waiting staff. Despite some reviews stating that the location is far from the beach or out of way, they couldn’t be more wrong. I’ve been over 10 times and the beach is 10 minutes in a taxi that will cost around €5-10 euro or there is a free bus at the top of the hill which again takes 10 minutes. A short taxi takes you into all the busier bar areas, which is again a maximum of 15 minutes. The hotel is quiet and gives you amazing views of the area. Perfect for families to relax and have some nice food and drink. The food as always was brilliant, the options at the buffet caters to everyone and the normal menu has amazing offers. I’ll definitely be back again!

We are mid way through our week long holiday at Palm Oasis and like it so much that we’ve already booked up for next year. We’re staying in a 2 bed suite which is a lovely size for our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and it’s been great to have our private hot tub on the balcony to use when never we like. We’re staying on a room only board so have mostly eaten out. Just one meal in the buffet restaurant so far and a couple of lunches in the pool bar but the food has been nice and not overly expensive. The swimming pools are both lovely and have never seemed overcrowded. It’s also good that the pool is closed off until 8:30am so you don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to reserve a sun-bed. 8:30 is a reasonable hour. The room cleanliness is also very good. Rooms cleaned every day except Sundays. The gardens are also beautiful. It really is a little oasis. Such a great find.

Lovely place. So clean, staff super helpful. Kids pool is lovely. Two ladies in reception were so sweet. Pool is lovely and the food is fine. It’s 5 min drive from the beach but reception can all you a cab in two min. We had a 3 and 4 year old and it was very safe for them.

This hotel has so much potential! Apartments are clean and spacious with everything you need for your stay. Cleaning staff are amazing only hotel I’ve been to that they clean the room everyday! Pools are great but have to be quick for a sunbed - people queuing from 7am to put towels down! Entertainment lets the hotel down big style! Only 2 nights of entertainment in a week magic show would have been great if only we could get a seat - very confined space and the only bar service was within the restaurant which was very slow. If your looking for a relaxed holiday with not much to do at night then this is the place for you if you want somewhere lively look elsewhere!

We went for a month and it was honestly the best place to go on holiday with the family the service is second to none and the atmosphere and food was fantastic thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and friendly staff safe beautiful holiday we will be back again next year been home for a week and missing it already so if you want a great time with everything you need please check this resort out and I guarantee you will have the best holidays ever and you won't want to leave from the start to the finish 5 stars ✨ you won't regret it and thank you for everything cannot recommend it enough awesome
