the hotel was a little tough to find because of the 1‘ x 1‘ sign on the building. Once we got into our room, it might’ve been the nicest room on our month-long trip to Italy. It was built into a cave, obviously refinished, but you could still see fossils in the ceiling. An updated shower and bathroom and bed. Close to everything to see in Matera. Our receptionist at the hotel was amazing. Gave us great tips for restaurants and attractions. Her name is Gloria. Ever come back again. I will stay there again. That says it all.

Excellent, attractive room, very central yet private, peaceful and secure. Aircon, kettle, fridge supplied in room. Secure parking available nearby if needed, in a monitored parking garage (current cost 20 Euros for 24 hours or on an hourly basis). We were greeted by the lovely Simonetta, who is an absolute treasure. So knowledgeable, she gave us masses of information on where to go and what to see in Matera and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. Fantastic service! Matera itself is the most fascinating town and I strongly recommend a visit. We hope to return one day and would definitely book Euvodia again.

My experience at Evodia Luxury Rooms was truly exceptional. Despite our late arrival at 1:15 AM, the staff greeted us warmly and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. They were incredibly attentive throughout our stay, offering detailed advice on how to get around quickly and suggesting fantastic dining options in the area. Upon arrival, they welcomed us with a refreshing drink, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture after a long journey. The attention to detail didn’t stop there; the breakfast each morning was delightful, with a variety of fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The combination of outstanding service, helpful recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay at Evodia Luxury Rooms an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special place to stay.

You cannot park your car outside to drop off bags but Mikaela was extremely helpful & met us at Carpark to help with luggage. Room was lovely but smelt a bit stale - just needed airing. The TV was good size but funky framing around it blocked speakers so the sound was muffled. HUGE bath in room which seemed a complete waste of space - would prefer extra seating or larger wardrobe. Location was great, breakfast in local cafe very easy. All-in-all I would def. Recommend.

María Teresa, la propietaria es un encanto de persona, las habitaciones, el confort, la limpieza y la ubicación del hospedaje es excelente!!!, además tiene un jardín muy lindo y cálido, está ubicado a metros del centro histórico de Matera.

Positionnement de l’établissement en plein centre historique est idéal (le parking extérieur est à 5´ à pied) Aménagement ultra moderne et confortable des chambres. (Attention : lié à l’architecture locale, il n’y a pas de fenêtre ) Le seul petit bémol : la Clim est un peu bruyante ! Pour le petit déjeuner, qui a fait l’objet de commentaires négatifs dans le passé, on peut dit qu’il est à présent tout à fait correct et servi sur place. La jeune femme qui fait l’accueil et le petit déjeuner s’en occupe parfaitement et avec le sourire. À recommander
