The Estate is a fully restored 16th century Villa and Borgo that was used as the Lord of Lucca's summer palace. Villa Guinigi is now beautifully and historically preserved to 21 century comforts that includes an outdoor and indoor pool, tennis, Wifi, spectacular views, day or night and 15 hectares ( 37 acres ) of beautiful grounds and gardens for your pleasure. The stone walled and electronically gated property is fully secure with an 24/7 security system. The Estate is continually monitored for your security.
The apartment is fully equipped with modern comforts including a satellite Tv, Dvd player, stereo, telephone, and Wifi connection. The custom designed kitchen has beautiful finishes with stone counters, dishwasher, washer and dryer combo, full size refrigerator and freezer and all cooking equipment.
A visit to Villa Guinigi will be a splendid way to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The sitting room is separated from the sleeping area by a passage equipped with a built-in wardrobe closet that covers the entire wall close to the bathroom with shower facing the two bedrooms, the mail with a king size bed and the other with two single beds that could be combined to a king as well. Both are furnished in traditional style Tuscan wrought iron beds and furnishings.
The Unique Benefits of the Estate; The Villa is ideally located close to Historic Lucca and a short distance to many other points of interest by train including Florence (45 Min), Pisa (20 Min), Viareggio & Forte dei Marmi (25 Min), Chinque Terre (60 Min), the thermal baths at Bagna di Pisa and Bagna di Lucca. There are many other Tuscan towns where one can enjoy the art, culture, food, wine and people. It's also close to Abetone which has skiing during the winter.
