Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

This was our second visit to this outstanding hotel having visited ten years ago. We would have booked last year for our 40th anniversary but due to a medical problem had to cancel. Special thanks to Kavita who although our Anniversary was three weeks prior to our visit gave us a beautiful room and special treatment. The staff in this hotel treated us like royalty from our arrival . THE ROOM… Our room 210 was absolutely superb, beautifully furnished and oh so comfortable, it was equipped with everything you could possibly need . The bed was enormous and comfy and I would have liked to have taken it home ! Oh my goodness.. The FOOD.. this was incredible, the best we have ever had in a hotel, beautifully cooked, hot and so tasty with an amazing selection every day, We also ate at the La Maree beach restaurant which again was faultless. THE STAFF… As well as Kavita, a special thank you to the lovely Vimala and Ashi in the Belle Vue restaurant who looked after us so well, Nikhal in the La Maree bar and Yoven in the Quarter deck bar. Not forgetting to mention the great entertainment staff. The staff everywhere are all truly wonderful. I don’t know how this hotel can be improved as it is excellent, thank you so much, hopefully we will return as soon as possible

We stayed beginning of November and the hotel was amazing! Beautiful scenery, quiet location, brilliant staff, and lovely food! We stayed for our honeymoon and got given a gorgeous room with access to the garden. There’s plenty of a la carte restaurants to try each week, plus the buffet is amazing and changes every day so plenty of variety. We found the food very good. The drinks are also lovely with a wide range of cocktails to choose from. The hotel was clean and very nice, and all the watersports were so fun! And great that they are included! We paddle boarded, kayaked, snorkelled etc But one of the best things of the whole hotel is the staff! Every single person was so kind and welcoming and the service was exceptional! We didn’t even have to ask for drinks and we got to know so many wonderful people who treated us so well! Special shout out to Akhilesh who looked after us most nights and went so above and beyond, we adored him and he was brilliant!!! Thank you so much Also a few more to mention- Adriano!! Marin, OM, and Dylan. So many more people we didn’t get the name of too, but my gosh the service was incredible! Thank you all so much for making it so memorable The pools are lovely, and some nice entertainment although very chilled. The beach candlight concert was gorgeous!! We loved it! The gold buggies to get around the resort were great too and so much to do on the resort, animals, spa, mini golf etc. We have two massages which were excellent. Can’t fault a thing, absolutely recommend especially for a quiet, couples stay! ❤️

We had a fantastic stay at the Maritim Resort and Spa. We arrived and were greeted with big smiles and a surprise room upgrade, to a suit room, 109. Wow what a lovely room it was. Which came with its own area of beach reserved for suit rooms. Would love to thank Jay on the beach for getting our drinks and looking after us he always knew what we wanted (great memory) and very friendly, Thank you Jay. The hotel grounds were lovely and had lots to do with horse riding (horses are well looked after and are ex race horses) and a zoo with tortoises also archery and golf. In the early evening you then have the fruit bats fly in to the trees on the beach wow what a sight. Also you can see the best sunsets right on the beach. The food was so delicious wherever you eat . The staff could not do enough for you and were very friendly and helpful. We would like to thank everyone for making our stay so wonderful and thank you for upgrading us such a wonderful surprise. We would go back again.

I Mr Veeren (room 228 and 306), My family I personally recommend this 5 star hotel,we have been on this weekend 23 and 24 August 2025 ,the atmosphere is very good,staff very professional and kind no words to say how they care about the well-being of the client,I want the thanks Mr Jan and some that i have forget their name at the reception and the FB manager Mr Deven, at the restaurant breakfast, lunch,and dinners was buffet ,thanks also to the boat house staff. Room very clean,spa sauna and Jacuzzi top.i have been on all inclusive package .Thanks to every staff members, from cleaner to manager,You need to visit Maritime Balaclava Hotel .

Another great stay at Maritim Resort and Spa Mauritius. another perfect Holiday from Travel Republic. From the minute we left home to the moment we returned it felt relaxed organised and all extremely coordinated. This is our second visit to this hotel - Direct flight with Air Mauritius amazing the 12 hours gone in no time with attentive staff always making sure you have a comfortable flight - easy private transfer from the airport at a reasonable cost ( around and hour to the north west of the island) - we were in the resort by 9am from the moment you arrive you are All Inclusive (if that’s the option you took) an arrivals lounge where you can leave luggage, take a shower, and just chill or like us into breakfast at the buffet and by 3 o’clock we had access to our 2 rooms. The rooms have recently been decorated and a new block on the resort of family suites is also available. The beach is amazing closely located a couple minutes walk with Le Maree Restaurant and bar right on the beach ( at this point I have to mention Bachoo, Oodaye, Dinesh, Naresh and Jay) all of which are there to make sure your stay is a memorable one ( there are too many staff to mention but all there to help. The resort has 7 Restaurants some require subsidies but an allowance is given for all inclusive guests and you can use all the restaurants once per week. Anno with its roof top bar and rum distillery is a must visit along with Le Maree seafood on the beach Les Filoes BBQ restaurant - La Creole is the Mauritian Restaurant ( I haven’t tried this one) and the Chateau which is the equivalent of a Michelin star restaurant spoilt for choice - and if you don’t fancy that themed nights every night different in the main buffet. The quarter deck bar - headed up by Deven and his staff is amazing the centre piece on a night to watch the sun go down and enjoy endless cocktails. Each night has some form of entertainment - don’t expect west end performances but it’s there to join in if you want but this isn’t a resort that has loud entertainment - but still has a relaxing party feel in the evening. Kavita the Customer Relations Manager always there to help and does her daily walk around the resort to ensure everything is to your liking nothing is too much trouble. Mitun one of the food and beverage managers always on hand and appears when you least expect it again making sure everything is in hand. I am not an avid golfer however I played the 9 hole par 3 daily with some tuition from Sachin the on site pro of ten years - happy to help, Green fees are included but you are required to hire kit but this is a reasonable and cheap cost. I cannot recommend this hotel enough the environment, the beach, the staff this was our second visit and I am already looking at a return booking next year as my family dont want to go anywhere else. It’s like home from home and you won’t be disappointed. We look forward to our return Maritim - as Bachoo reminds me ‘you have to leave in order to return!.

I've had such an incredible stay at the Maritim resort in Mauritius. I have been to Mauritius many times before staying in different resorts. I found the Maritim to be the best. The staff are so welcoming and accomodating. They made me feel relaxed and at home. They are polite and cater for all your needs. I would reccomend going for the all inclusive package. The food is delicious. The activites are endless. Just all round great vibes have been had. Kids had a blast!
