Easy Stay Residence

Absolutely love this place, wonderful team, managed by Natasha , welcoming, clean , on the beach. Highly recommend for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy Mauritius Northern side of the island . Breakfast was homemade, traditional, plus fruit salad, omelette , cheese toastie , juices, coffee. Nothing is too much to ask for the team, we felt part of the Family- Mr Raj the owner has built a fabulous place to stay with a friendly home from home atmosphere- just wish the views from my bedroom was the same as from this one! Love it, you will not regret staying here. Close to great food outlets, ATM, and bus routes to Port Louis or Grand Bay

Note: we stayed in July 2022, not November! We loved it at Easy Stay! After a short trip to the East coast we decided to head back to Trou aux Biches. While searching for accommodation we found this little gem! Located almost beachfront with huge rooms and a huge balcony. The breakfast is a local breakfast which is prepared and served freshly. The staff is so friendly and loving and welcoming that we were really really sad when we had to leave after one week! This was the best place we stayed at, mainly thanks to the staff. The interior of the rooms was not our taste and the „kitchenette“ was not really kitchen, but a counter and a fridge. You can’t cook there. Otherwise you have a great view from the first floor and can watch the sunset from your own balcony. We loved it there and I will happily recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to Trou aux Biches!! We miss the lovely ladies working there!!!

This is certainly not the Ritz but if you like value for money then look no further. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. Breakfast is a foodies delight, a mixture of lovely dishes, from great omelettes to fresh fruit salads, spicy samosas, fresh orange juice and much more. The staff, what can I say, you want friendly and helpful then look no further and they receive 10 out of 10 for honesty. The residence is just a few steps from the beach and local amenities. Trou aux Biches is not full of bars and eateries but Easy Stay is right in the middle of those available. Close by is the local park, which houses several small local food stalls, the food is very inexpensive but fantastic quality.

Everything about our stay at EasyStay Residence was great! Super friendly and exceptionally welcoming staff, perfect location! Great value for money with the tastiest breakfast made with love! We had the suite which is really spacious, despite not actually being efficient for self catering. Huge balcony with the perfect view of the sunset right in front! The room was really clean and inviting! All the girls working here were so very hospitable and made us feel at home from the very first moment! You also get good deals at the Boat House on the beach for catamaran trips or snorkeling trips. It was really difficult to leave and if we ever make it back to Mauritius we will definitely come back! Staying here was the icing on our Mauritius cake! Go and stay here, you won’t regret it!

It was an amazing stay thanks to the friendly, charming staff who take care of their guests like family! Delicious breakfasts, afternoon coffee and smile of team that creates this place made our stay unique. Besides the beach next door! Special thanks to Mr Raj and Natasha 🙂

Our second stay in this B&B guesthouse just confirmed our first experience: if you're not looking for a five star resort, but for perfect and friendly service and an authentic local surrounding directly at the public beach, then this is the place to be in Trou Aux Biches! We felt like coming home!
