Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City Airport

I flew in and we used this hotel for rooms and the meeting room. Katie picked me up and was so helpful and gave me excellent tips. Lisa was just lovely and did it all as well. This staff is amazing at this hotel they do it all from the desk to driving the shuttle. Sergio was excellent and made sure the meeting room was complete, we had everything we needed perfect, and he checked on us many times. Irma assisted with the lunch so friendly and helpful. Dewey was my driver and he was great. Lots of fund stories... I met Bravilo at the restaurant and he was great as well. They serve really good food at this location and the rooms are Clean. Great location a few miles from other sites without the hassle of going downtown.

Nice and clean hotel. Stayed for wedding with 35+ rooms of family / friends. Tera Wood was excellent Sales Manager who assisted with all the accomodations. Shuttle service was excellent - Dewey in particular made everyone feel warm and welcome on the shuttle. Best option by MCI and for the White Iron Ridge venue.

Recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City near the airport for a friend’s wedding and had a great experience. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We checked in a little earlier than regular check in time but the friendly front desk staff got us in. She was quite pleasant and gave good dining recommendation's to my out of town friends. The same friends had flown in for the wedding and complimented the shuttle service from the airport. All in all a really nice place to stay.

I accompanied my husband who was doing a training at the hotel. Pros: clean, modern, comfortable bed, free parking, close to airport, Cons: terrible coffee bar, no snacks available to just grab and go, less than inviting front desk employees, not enough pillows, flat pillows, no sauna, strong chemical odor in lobby, traffic sounds all night long. Looking at all the excellent Hilton options in Kansas City, this location should be the last on the list if you have a car to get around. While it’s conveniently close to the airport, that isn’t a bonus for me since I have a car. This hotel has a very short list of amenities. It offers the bare minimum, comparable to a Super 8 motel. I was pleasantly surprised that Kansas City was such a beautiful city. The front desk worker was only able to recommend a nearby mall for attractions and the worker seemed to be very put out when asked simple questions and provided no information on hotel amenities. It was later discovered that there were none, but how difficult is it to point out the location of the gym and explain the hours? Instead, check in was performed in unwelcoming silence. Kansas City is famous for bbq but the worker shrugged and pointed out the restaurant in the hotel. The coffee in the room was super basic. No flavored creamers, just a couple of half and half and sugar packs. The lobby offered little more. All hotels should at least have a decent coffee bar, even if they have nothing else. In summary, all this location offers is a bed and close proximity to the airport.

I always enjoy staying at Hilton hotels. In Kansas City i couldn’t get the washing machine to work properly. After a long day of driving I was exhausted. James from engineering came to my rescue. He was kind, dedicated and determined to resolve the problem. Thank you James.

Zero is my rating. We stayed two night with two rooms. We were charged the correct amount when we departed the hotel. After checking our banking info we were not only charged for our stay but an additional $800 that the GM can not seem to explain or offer help getting reversed. Not only that but during our stay my sons car was stolen in KC since we were away from home we asked for help with security footage that would have his licenses plates in order to assist the police. We never ever received a phone or a follow up whatsoever after our request. Not a we can’t help or anything just avoidance. Absolutely the worst hotel management we ever encountered. Still trying to get our charges reversed for charges that are not ours. I hope everyone reads this and finds another hotel. So much for a nice stay, what we got was a headache to work out once we were home to the tune of $800. Find another hotel to stay.

This has a weird set up. There are no tables in the lobby to set your computer, meet with colleagues or a cup of coffee. Just couches and some side tables kind of like a living room at your house. There is an attached pizza restaurant that was closed at 9am. No breakfast for Diamond member. Hotel is newer and very clean. Good cleaning staff. Warning: Major construction right next door about 200 feet from the south side of hotel just starting as of my December visit.

I stayed at this hotel the night before a 6:00 AM flight out of KCI. It was a delightful experience. The property is modern and safe and well-maintained. The room was spacious, with clean and comfortable bedding and linens. The TV's operation was easy, and the remote control - in contrast to my experience at most hotels - actually worked well and was responsive to the touch without having to aim it exactly right or apply superhuman pressure to the buttons. The hotel's common areas seemed much more brightly lit and airy than most hotels, and I appreciate that. Additionally, hallways on the guestroom floors were wider than most hotels, which I liked. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport. I used it only for transportation TO the airport, and for that it was great . . .it leaves the hotel every 30 minutes starting at 4:00 AM; I was on that 4:00 AM shuttle and it worked out just great, with a friendly driver. It's about a 7-minute ride to the airport. I did not have time to use them, but I did check out the swimming pool and the fitness center; both were quite nice with the latter having health-club quality equipment. The only downside of the property is that it is a bit isolated; there is nothing within walking distance. But, I was happy with the hotel restaurant. I had a nice chicken-walnut-apple salad that was tasty ad fresh and priced affordably. All-in-all, I had a very positive experience here. I'd recommend this property and would likely stay here again if I were to return to the area.

This is hands down the best HGI/Hilton property in KC. I travel regularly for business (1-2 x/month) and have stayed at other hotels in the area when this was fully booked. The front desk staff from Joseph and Jessica and all the others, to housekeeping and even the manager, Katie and Sales, Tera are all outstanding! I look forward to my stays here because they are attentive and the property itself is very clean and well kept. Couldn't ask for anything more!
