Rose of the Sea is great location, ideal for touring The West of Ireland. Anne is a wonderful host, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is great value. The rooms are spacious with wonderful views across the bay. There is an sea pool 5 mins away, with a sauna nearby to warm up after a dip. The continental breakfast has plenty to choose from , cereal, toast ,fruit, yoghurt. A wonderful stay, I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Rose of The Sea is perfectly located on the shore in NW County Mayo in the Village of Belmullet , there are groceries as well as restaurants in the village which is 1.5 miles up the road. Communication with the proprietor is a little lacking (I had none until after I left) but it’s really wasn’t a factor in my stay. The room (#3) was quite large with a great view and Hot Water was never an issue. There are many places to visit within a short drive, I’m all about just going out and exploring so it was perfect. If you choose to go the directions will send you to the south side of a no named road but it is actually north side of Belmullet Green Loop (L52851) I hope you find this review helpful , I would definitely stay at Rose of The Sea again

We had booked Rose of the Sea for six nights. Unfortunately on the second day we were informed that there was a pump issue involving the septic tank that was being addressed. we stayed for three nights before having to leave because drains were not working properly. Ann was very understanding and said we would get a refund for other the three nights. Please address this issue as we have no direct contact with Ann or the B&B.

Beautiful area. House was lovely but needs a little tlc. Toilet was difficult to flush, We loved that we had access to the kitchen and sitting room if we wanted. The house was close to town and it had such an amazing view

This is a beautiful property with beautiful views. Our hosts, Anna and Vulga, were excellent. My wife and I left a day early because there was no electricity or heat due to a very strong winter storm, but that didn't diminish our overall experience. We would be happy to stay here again.
