Neuhaus Zillertal Resort

We were in one of the apartments in a building opposite the main hotel. Live music playing outside the front of the hotel could be clearly heard in the apartment until 10pm every night except when it wasn’t on due to heavy rain. This made it very hard for my daughter to get to sleep and I would not recommend these rooms for families with children. The hotel grounds are beautiful with a lovely swimming pond (not heated so ok for swimming in but too cold for children to play in for any length of time and they will be out of their depth so not for non-swimmers) and a playground. The spa facilities were clean and in good condition. We were half board and enjoyed the food.

We recently stayed at Neuhausen Hotel in Zillertal as a family of four (two adults and two children), and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The suite was excellent—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. One of the true highlights of our stay was the garden and pool area, which were absolutely beautiful and perfect for both relaxation and fun with the kids. We also really appreciated the half board concept. The dinners were varied and tasty, and it was great to have it all included. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, though we did notice that if you came down after 9 a.m., some dishes were no longer available, which was a bit disappointing. One area with room for improvement was the friendliness of some of the staff. We sometimes felt overlooked, and we’re not sure if it was due to the language barrier (as we don’t speak German), but it did affect the overall experience a bit. Despite that, we would definitely stay here again. The evening entertainment, especially the musician Willy, brought a lot of joy and a cozy atmosphere to our evenings. All in all, a lovely stay in a beautiful setting!

The newly constructed Spa area is truly top of the line; the 38 million Euro investment is a treat in every aspect, with panoramic sauna, singing bowl sessions and swinging lounge chairs, not to mention an indoor waterpark paradise for kids and adults. Since the resort claims to be a 4****s hotel, we expected the same in the rooms and restaurant as well. But it doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The Suite was spacious, but quite dark; the terrace almost useless due to huge skylights from the floor below, which also obscured the view of the mountains. The room itself was quite basic: no coffee maker, no mini bar, kleenex missing, shower door broken and over heated ( without being able to adjust). Also no ski or boot room at the hotel. The full board dinner was also not as great as the a-la-cart options, as the food sits ready in the kitchen and is delivered within 30 seconds. Breakfast buffet is great, tho, with many options and a custom cook. Service is friendly and competent throughout as expected, but overall we were a bit disappointed for the price level, albeit all these little shortcomings are easily fixed to complete the impression. Until then we’ll scout for other options in the lovely Zillertal.

An exceptional hotel where the staff go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and valued. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly helpful, even providing us with a kettle to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The restaurant experience was equally impressive—Palmera and her wonderful team delivered impeccable service, perfectly complementing the outstanding cuisine. The housekeeping staff were always warm and attentive, ensuring our room was spotless and that we had everything we needed. This hotel truly stands out with its excellent food, charming ambiance, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests. A perfect stay in every way!

Staff and hotel absolutely superb. First time family ski for us and this hotel is a real find, warm and welcoming, friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and leisure areas, top notch food and excellent restaurant. We stayed April 2024. The Hotel is really quirky with an eclectic mix of old and modern that is totally charming. The main hotel has great architecture and a restaurant with a view to die for. We stayed half board and it was worth it, the menu was really lovely and the food delicious - made even better by brilliant staff who amde us most welcome. The pool and sauna areas were a real bonus - clean and warm and kept in very good order. We stayed in the Apartments across from the main hotel, these were decently equipped and kept spotless for us all week. Thanks so much to all the staff for making our stay so great.

My husband and I arrived on the 28th Dec having booked to stay at Hotels Neuhaus, Landhaus a wing of the resort via Crystal Ski. We had stayed here before and were happy with the 3 star budget option. On arrival the resort was obviously very busy and the family checking-in in front of us were with the Crystal rep who was telling them there had been a terrible mistake and there was no rooms for them. Something has gone very wrong for this resorts booking process and after further 45 mins of confusion with our room we were told we were to be ‘upgraded’ and moved to the St Josef wing of the resort, I have never been so disappointed with a hotel room ever. See photos, if this was an ‘upgrade’ I would have hated to see our original room. The shower was basically a tap with a hose attached, the bath and toilet were so badly stained the bath was just unusable. The sink ceramic was chipped and filled and there was an unsealed hole under the bath full of debris. I honestly think they ran out of rooms and put us in the staff quarters. We spoke to the housekeeper and she did not even know were our room was! I just find it strange that they can pay €30 million for a new beautiful Spa complex and they can’t replace bathrooms like this. We are still at the hotel, only 1 day to go, we have complained but hotel are not interested, they have our money and are almost aggressive argumentative when you tell them you don’t want there ‘upgrade’ just the original room we booked. Beware of booking one room and being offered and unwanted upgrade?
