Beautiful hotel within easy reach of Kruger national park. Rooms are really pleasent and the hotel has amazing gardens. The restaurant is very nice and the food is of a really high quality. Service is really good. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We are part of the Exotica tour party. It is not the best and Exotica should reconsider their choice. Room: Bathroom is dirty, things down the sink hole, shower not clean. Toilet door does not close as lock is broken. Toilet was dirty. Safe: They tell you to put things in the safe. Ours didn’t work. It was locked but open, and there were no instructions as to how to reset it. We went to reception and asked for instructions only to be told they didn’t have any and the receptionist didn’t know how to do it, Food: Tasteless. We went in at 19:30 hours and most of the trays in the buffet were empty. There was no cutlery on the tables. Try and get a drink! The bar was jam packed and no waiters were coming down to the lower level. Finally we managed to find a waitress. She didn’t come straight to the table so I went to collect the drinks myself. She exclaimed that I couldn’t have them and she had to deliver them. By the time both my partner and I chased around for a drink, our food was cold. It’s not the best, believe me. First impressions say a lot about a company and so far, this place that advertises about how good it is has not lived up to expectations.

I just checked out of this resort this morning. I thought it was a nice property with a spa and pool. I was leery about going there due to reviews on this site. My room was very large and modern plus had all the bathroom amenities that others say are not provided. It also had a balcony, safe, refrigerator and coffee/tea bar with a kettle. I was here with Exoticca for the safari tour. I also went into a few rooms of other travelers and they were all nice and updated. The one couple had a suite behind the reception area. The 3 buffet dinners which were provided on the tour at the resort were very tasty. We had a breakfast buffet this morning and it was good as well. All of the staff at the restaurant and bar were extremely friendly and courteous. They also provided breakfast boxes on our safari days and they were yummy as well and I am a picky eater. My birthday was on the first night we were there and the tour guide must have told the staff. They all sang to me in Afrikaans and English and gave me a piece of cake. So special. The young man at the reception was always cheerful and very helpful. Now the best part…the spa. Pinky was the name of my therapist and she stayed after hours 2 nights so I could have treatments after the safari. The first visit I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage for $37USD. The next day, I had 30 minute body scrub, 30 minute body wrap and a 90 minute anti aging facial - all for $82USD. I recommended her to others on my tour and they loved her services too. I would highly recommend this resort. Thanks to all the staff for your kindness and hospitality.

The resort looks great on arrival. Once checked in, the room had no running hot water, the hinges on the cupboards were loose and no hair dryer. We were relocated to another room with different faults. The lack of attention to detail was clear. The toilet light flickered like a disco ball (all the downlighting seemed different makes), hinges on doors also pulled out, dirty skirtings and a general feeling of grubbiness. Even the blinds were dusty and bent. There was nobody present at the bar / restaurant in the afternoon when we were peckish so we left and went to a nearby mall. The bed was clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious with ample parking were the positives.

Big complex and all you need . It's been bought out and upgrades are being put in place. Sports facilities there if you have the energy. 45 mins from Kruger national park. Good midway point for Kruger.
