We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our bedroom with a balcony over looking the view was perfect. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is exquisite. We enjoyed taking drinks in the evening in the drawing room, before dinning in the restaurant. I would love to return in the summer months and take full advantage of the pool and relax in the sunshine.

Reception: Very friendly welcome and help with the luggage. The hotel is on a hill and consists of several buildings, all connected with stairs. Location: Close to the highway and yet far away from hectic life, a couple of houses and the access to the wine route of Rias Baixas nearby. It takes approximately half an hour each to go to Pontevedra or Vigo. The surroundings are unique! Room: Traditional Spanish, rural furniture, room and bathroom spacious and clean. Good bed. A wooden porch provides a great view over the gorgeous landscape and vineyards. Absolutely silent. Breakfast: Nice breakfast buffet. Parking: Private, safe, outside. The access is via a narrow winding street, very steep. Restaurant: We dined there twice. The meals were very good, the price a bit higher than average. Kids seemed to be welcome.

What a place. A little tricky to find but once there it was an amazing place. So quiet, even though the weather wasn’t brilliant the first night. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed there and the food was superb. So glad we didn’t have to negotiate the narrow roads at night. Recommended.

Wow! This was a last minute booking and what a great pivot of our original plans! The wildfires changed our plans in south Portugal to north Spain. This boutique hotel was just what we needed to recharge. Every detail of this hotel provides beauty and function. It feels like a well nurtured home of hospitality. The staff was very patient with us not speaking Spanish and either read our minds or worked through the moments of language barrier well with translate programs. The landscape was gorgeous. Their website listed a number of great sites nearby and we needed the help since such a last minute change. They offered massages and cooking classes too. We took advantage of the massage which was soothing. The food was excellent and the grounds immaculate with so many outdoor rooms to relax. I’ve never wanted to brag on a place as much as I do this one. All I can say is the intention of each detail and heart of the staff was deeply felt.

Lovely small independent hotel. We stayed 3 nights with teenage daughters and ate in two of the three nights. The rooms were lovely - large and comfortable with spacious terraces. The hotel grounds are beautiful with different areas for relaxing, reading etc. Pool is small but perfectly suited for a chilled afternoon. The food was superb as was the breakfast. It felt very personal with lots of helpful advice if needed. We left refreshed and happy!

The Hotel is in a great location. The personnel is really helpful and customer oriented. You have a pool, a great garden and a place to chill out and read a book. All services are perfect. and you have the value for the money you spend. I recommend this place whenever you are in Galicia.

Had three nights in this gorgeous small hotel. A relaxed but super stylish atmosphere with delightful friendly staff and a truly wonderful restaurant. We had two dinners in our three nights and they were both superb. We stayed in the Villa San Mauro suite which had a huge sitting room with lovely views over the vine covered countryside and also had a terrace. Breakfast was delicious with gorgeous views. Sadly it was not warm enough for us to use the pool which looked great. I would highly recommend staying here!

The rooms are very nice. Ours had a balcony with a table and chairs and a nice view! The hotel is charming, with lots of places to sit and have a glass of wine. The restaurant is excellent for both dinner and breakfast. The location is great if you want to go to wineries for tours and tastings. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool. Maybe next time!

Amazing estate. Every design and layout is well thought. Service is impeccable. Great design of the estate with many cosy corners for anyone to relax and chill. As what the owner said — explore the place and it’s like a labyrinth waiting to be discovered.
