We enjoyed the most spectacular stay in Collon House. It is a stunning estate and a marvelous location. The estate is gorgeous and magnificently appointed. Michael and Johm were the most charming and welcoming hosts. It achieves our highest recommendation - a must stay. (We hid our room key to we could attempt to stay longer) Thank you Michael and John.

This is absolutely the most elegant and beautiful place. The host , Michael is delightful and charming. The suite we were in was tastefully and authentically period perfect. The gardens are gorgeous. The breakfast was amazing. It was beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend.

What a great stay! We stay in a lot of country houses like this and we loved this place. Michael was great, very welcoming and full of interesting facts`about the house. We stayed in the french room and loved it. The house was amazing, and the breakfast was very tasty and wholesome - great food and service! Nice bars and restaurants around the village too! We would definitely come back to stay here and recommend to friends!

The stay here is definitely a unique experience: genuine, historical surroundings and interiors, beautiful garden, and very good breakfast. The rooms are a bit chilly, but the blankets and beds are warm and absolutely wonderful.

My brother, sister-in-law, and I stayed in Ireland at Collon House for a week. Highly recommend this delightful Bed and Breakfast. Great food and wonderful hosts. Right at the end of the driveway is a bus stop for an express bus into Dublin. But, better yet, a pub is also located right at the end of the driveway. You can't get any better than that! Even though this is a very tiny village, two fabulous restaurants are within walking distance of Collon House. The house itself has a breath-taking garden where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or wine. Oh, and by the way, despite what Michael says, I'm pretty sure the cat visiting you in the garden is his. :-)

The rooms are exquisite with many objets d'art, antique furniture and quirky features. We were grateful for no television or phone. The bed was comfortable with an electric blanket. Spotlessly clean. The house has been lovingly restored. Breakfast was served in the magnificent dining room. It felt like being in Downtown Abbey .

What an amazing place!! It’s like stepping into a film set for a period drama!! From the moment we arrived we were treated like vip’s. Michael made us so welcome and even lit the fire for us even though we were the only ones staying. Our bedroom was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable that we had the best night sleep. Breakfast was amazing, we were really spoiled!! I’ve stayed in 5* hotels and they don’t even come close to the breakfast at Collon House. Thank you for such a lovely relaxing stay!!!

Myself and a friend stayed in this beautiful house, the experience was so magical. From the beautiful gardens to the lovingly restored house. You could just tell that the proprietors had put their heart and soul into it. They made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped over the threshold to when we departed. The breakfast was just amazing too. It was like stepping back in time...just the most fantastic experience we will definitely be returning. I cannot recommend Collon House enough..don't think twice, just book it. Your stay will definitely be etched in your memory forever.
