Adaaran Select Meedhupparu - with 24Hrs Premium All Inclusive

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to this magical island. We were only ever going once however this place is special and gets under your skin. From stepping off the seaplane we were welcomed with happy smile faces. It was fabulous walking round and staff welcoming us back. We stayed 10nights in a beach villa and 4 in a watervilla (will review this separately). We were lucky to be allocated villa 163, literally inches from on the ocean, at high tide it actally came up to our steps, it was wonderful. We were very blessed to have dolphins right outside our villa one morning. Amazing! The Indian resteraunt Sufura is superb and a must try. Apporva, Preeti, Chef Laxman and all the other staff are exeptional. Oh I do miss the butter naans and chicken tikka (sigh). Lots of choice for breakfast and lunch in the main resteraunt Jaifray (apologies for the spelling). We strolled around the beautiful gardens and loved seeing all the nature and resident fauna. Same who manages the pool is a credit to the company. He was daily battling with complaints about not enough sunloungers. His customer service is excellent. It was so nice to see additional sunloungers being delivered to the pool just before we left. We enjoyed drinks chat and banter at the Albino bar, Sunset bar, pool bar, cafe mass and the Halaboli bar. A few names to mention for outstanding service and friendliness are Alif, Saranga Janaka, Ifaa Rumesh, Pethum Lahiru, Sumith/Chamara amd Capi. There are many other but names escape me. It was also nice to meet the new GM. We loved chatting to staff and learning abit about their lives and culture and feel blessed to refer to them as friends. The staff on this island are the real heart and soul of it. We have only been back 3 dats and already have itchy feet for our favourite place so see you next June magical Meed!

Wow what a wonderful stay in paradise. The Prestige Water Villas experience was pure luxury. Our butler Addhu was the perfect mix, attentive, helpful, communicative and impressive attention to detail and punctuality. The overwater villa was beautiful. The balcony was just as described with private jacuzzi and window to the sea to view the amazing fish. We snorkeled from the balcony and enjoyed the private beach and pool. Service was impeccable everywhere we went. The food in the Villa restaurant was a constant surprise and delight with delicious tastes at every turn. It was a spectacle on a plate. We particularly enjoyed the service from Sam and Nuaim in the restaurant. I enjoyed a trip on the catamaran with the knowledgeable and interstellar Sande and felt safe with the watersports team. The spa team were excellent and even the shopping was affordable. The nightlife was fun and plenty on offer. Moosa was an excellent housekeeper! The two free excursions were relaxing and enjoyable. The sunsets from our villa and the sunset bar were spectacular. It's just going home that is difficult. But travelling by seaplane makes it so exciting.

We loved coming to the bar every night and seeing the smiling faces of the lovely staff pethum Rumesh iresh loved speaking to them and laughing with them while having a beverage or two….. they are so hardworking and will do anything to help you and are genuinely interested in you and making sure you have a lovely time.

We went late April early May and we had the most wonderful time. The staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in a beach hut which was right on the beach number 247 right next the Mass bar which we loved and the food was delicious. We couldn’t fault this island the room was very clean and comfortable the food was great we loved the Indian restaurant. Yes we would go back as found this very good value for money.

Lovely island in the middle of the Raa atoll. The snorkeling on both the north and south side is excellent .we saw rays ,sharks and turtles and Picasso fishes. The food and in particular the Sri Lankan was very good and worth trying. We were looked after by Apoorva, preeti, sahil and chef singh and pawan the Indian restaurant

Just returned from an amazing holiday here. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was to celebrate my husband and I turning 40. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and we were in awe of the natural beauty all around us. The whole island was picture perfect and everything was so well maintained and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a beach villa and it was so lovely being able to open the doors and be straight out on to the beach. The room had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned twice a day (durning the day and then turn down service in the evening). We stayed in room 296 and I would like to give a special mention to the gent that cleaned our room I didn’t catch his name but he really was so attentive. There’s food and drink available pretty much all day and we never had a bad meal whilst we were there the staff were very helpful as I am gluten free so they always helped if I needed to check if something was gluten free and the chefs even made me separate dishes on a couple of occasions. The 2 ladies Apoorva & Preeti who were front of house in the buffet and Indian restaurant were so friendly, helpful and welcoming The chef in the Indian restaurant made my daughter her own butter chicken one evening after she had said she found some of the other dishes too spicy. My husband and I were both presented with a birthday cake each during our stay and mine was specially made gluten free. The staff here really do go the extra mile to make your stay perfect nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is really nice but can be difficult to find sunbeds straight away however, the pool staff are very attentive and don’t allow sunbeds to be left unattended (reserved) for too long they will remove and replace the towels so they can be used by others. The barman at the pool bar is great and makes a really good pina colada. We used the spa for a massage which was bliss. We also went on the included dolphin and sunset cruises and got some great sunset photos and saw lots of dolphins. We made use of the snorkel and fin hire from the water sport centre which is included during your stay and you can see so much marine life even just off the beach. We also did kayaking which is included and then we did jet skiing (chargeable) the staff at the water sports centre were all helpful and they don’t pressure you to do extra chargeable activities. We visited all the restaurants and bars whilst we were there and all were consistently good make sure you book early to get in at Thaava the a la carte as it’s only small and gets booked up fast. I wish we could have visited there more but only managed once. There are other dining options available like private meals on the beach, beach bbq night or treehouse meal etc but I think they were over priced. If they reduced the cost of these I’m sure a lot more people would do them. Also everything extra has the service charge and government tax added on top thi
