My parents booked the restaurant for my 50th birthday. Drove 50 mins from Memus to get there, on arrival there was no power so we were sent away. We asked for a drink which was refused even though 2 members of staff were enjoying a drink in the garden, my mother phoned the following day to speak to the manager who wasn’t available, still waiting on the call back. How disappointing the whole experience was, completely understand that the loss of power is out with their control, but cancelling the booking 2 hours after we arrived is really not good enough. I understand that the booking info was on the computer but refusing a drink (which in my view should have been complimentary) was not nice, we drove a long way to get there for a very special occasion and not even an apology is disgusting! Shame on you, we won’t be back ever. Erik Smyth
