Nice for family trip, a lot of food and souvenir store nearby.

Had an amazing time at this hotel , very friendly reception made me feel welcomed straight away , clean lovely rooms with comfortable beds and an impressive view. In the night one staff member called Zoey went out of her way to help me when I had issues with getting some milk for the baby and gifted me a few cartons from her office. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will always come back. Very foreigner friendly. Also free parking and they have a Starbucks next door #perfect

A big thanks to Front Office Manager Zero Xie for making our stay memorable. He is able to converse in English and recommended us interesting places to visit such as the Nanhua Youlu Weilong House, Zhongshan Road in the Old City and the best place to view the Meijiang River. He also helped to send the Map location of places outside Meizhou so that I can easily order a DiDi ehailing ride. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel and please ask Zero Xie for assistance if you don't know which places to visit.

Check in staff was very helpful. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and food was excellent

Excellent hotel near all amenities. Excellent location and facilities. Highly recommended The square next io the stadium opposite the hotel used to be much more quieter pre covid years though. How there is a bit of noise pollution coming from the square now.

The room was fine, however, the glass / curtain between room and washroom needs to be opaque when it’s a child friendly room!

Comfortable room and good value. Good location with many shops around it. Group dancing across the street makes it noisy until 9pm.

I recently stayed at Howard Johnson Hotel in Meizhou, Guangdong Province, and I was very pleased with my experience. The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. BIG APPLAUSE & THANK YOU to chief concierge Sam Qiu for his hospitality & prompt response. Sam checked us in & greeted my elderly parents with big smile. Sam is very resourceful! He learnt that we are foreigners of Hakka descendent & visited Meizhou for local cuisines, immediately recommended few restaurants & interesting places for us to explore. He helped us booked Di Di online, ordered food delivery to hotel before we departed to next city & even prepared disposable utensils for our meals in the high speed train, really appreciate his detailed observation & consideration! Sam extended his service beyond my expectation! LOVE the location, quiet & spacious room. People's Square is right across the street. Fresh air & greenery in the morning. When dark falls, the whole park turns into fun fair ground for kids, dancing field & karaoke place for the adults. Will return staying in this hotel without hesitation.

It is the international standard for the Hakka capital. Strongly recommend for those travelers that visit Meizhou for any occasions.
