Novotel Melbourne Airport recensioner

We are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!

I stayed 1 night and used the restaurant/bar downstairs for dinner plus they had happy hour drinks. Check in was quick, rooms were quiet considering the airport is next door. You can hear planes but it’s not bad. Very clean room & bed was very comfortable. I walked to the international terminal in about 8 minutes!

Standard size room. Clean and comfortable though. It is right next to the airport and so it is convenient for the stay over.

We arrived Melbourne at about 23:00 and will be leaving for a 08:30 flight the next morning. The good thing is the hotel is very close to the airport but it's a bit hard to find the entrance. Hotel room is clean and the front-desk staff is very helpful.

Nice rooms. Very stingy mini bar - $8 for a small mineral water (they're free at the nearby Park Royal, which is closer to the terminal and similar standard). Didn't order any food as the restaurant has very mediocre reviews and very high end prices. Comfy bed, good shower, dodgy TV reception. I think I'd choose the Park Royal again next time over the Novotel.

A 5 minute walk from the airport terminals; shares the same hotel lobby in as Ibis Style; breakfast is quite good

Located next to the Terminal 4 car park, on the far end, might need to look for directions if you’re here for the first time. Room was new and clean. Staff were nice. Would stay here again.

We had a layover in Melbourne and chose the Novotel airport hotel for our break. The room is clean, but the curtains do not block any light. Everything else is good.

Overall very pleasant and close to the airport. Took us 5-8 minutes to walk to our terminal.

The hotel charged me twice, and they never responded to customers until I called them. Service of the operator is bad. Terrible service

Very new hotel. Excellent condition. Well designed. Comfortable beds. Perfect for overnight night stay near the airport. Breakfast was solid. Will definitely choose again if I need to stay near the airport.
