Best Western Melbourne City

We booked the hotel from trip.com which was the best decision we made in securing a place in Melbourne. Its easy, convenient and theyre offering an affordable price compared to other booking site. Best Western Hotel, its 5/5. Friendly staff and the location is great. Will surely book again for our next trip to Melbourne.

The room was too cold as the cold air seeped into the hotel room, the walls to thin so the ambient noise on the streets will travel into the room. The place was not well maintained as some fixtures were spoilt and left hanging waiting for repairs. But location is good in the middle of downtown.

Overall, the place is fine. The location is good, lots of places to eat nearby. The room was decent and a good space. The shower was a little weird when I turned on the hot water, strange sounds came about and the filling blasting water would suddenly turn into drips. I had to turn the handle further to fix the issue.

The room is very clean and comfortable. Equip with own private toilet and the night is very peaceful and they have no charge for luggage storage.

The stay was small as I only needed it for one night, but the room itself was also quite small. The room had a single bed on wheels that would move very freely whenever I tried to sit down on it. The bathroom, however, was the most surprising as it was way too small, even for just myself. I noticed the toilet was rather close to the sink, so I tried to sit on the toilet and I physically could not do it because the sink was in the way of my legs. I had to walk sideways into the shower to use it and water was shooting very fast at the wall opposite, so showering was tricky. There is also a lift / elevator that is currently out of commission and pears to being repaired, yet the sign for the other lift appears not to be installed correctly. This is quite the disappointment for a Best Western hotel and the discounted cost of $90 was still too much to pay for what I received. I would possibly tolerate paying $60 - $70 per night for a room like that (at regular price) just because of the location and literally nothing else, but it is not worth the regular cost of well over $100 per night and there are less expensive hotels nearby that provide bigger and better rooms.

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Melbourne and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. The room was comfortable and clean, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Melbourne!
