The hotel front desk lack enthusiasm and was as cold as winter outside. Will not be naming staffs but the hotel can do way better. The only plus point is the location. Housekeeping is good. If not for the location, its doubtful there will be return Guests. The staff on my check out looked more senior and was friendly. She did a better job.

The hotel is located in the CBD. We are able to access to the places of interest and shopping centre easily. The shopping centre is just opposite the hotel. The hotel staff iis friendly, provides immediate assistance when I enquire for baggage storage. Though there is a notice about on the 3rd day room service but there was room service on the next day of our stay. Highly recommended

Nice stay. Strategic location surrounded many shopping malls and good restaurants. 2 minutes walking to China town. Sorry, photo not relevant.

I booked a twin standard room for my elderly parents, but they were assigned a room right next to the bin collection area. The noise was unbearable, and they couldn’t sleep all night. I can’t believe how close the bins were to their room. Why would you assign such a room to aged guests? Very disappointing.

Room smaller than expected. Overall no issue except the sound proof is very poor, can clearly hear the conversation in next door. Didn’t know it has no slipper provided, this is my bad as I didn’t read the description carefully. Location is great. Walking distance to most shopping centre.

The hotel said that the cleaning here is done once every 3 days. It's very bad. Most importantly, the room is very cold. It should be fixed and worth the price paid. Thank you.

Perfect location. The room/ensuite wasn’t the cleanest, but it had everything needed.  Pleased we only booked for 1 night though

hare my thoughts regarding my recent visit. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I truly appreciated the comfort of the accommodations. The reception staff were exceptional, welcoming me warmly and facilitating an early check-in. However, I would like to suggest that the breakfast menu could benefit from some variety. Having the same options every day became a bit monotonous. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to my next visit!

Except the sound proffing problem, it is okay to stay here, nice location just right in the CBD of Melbourne.

About the tenth time I have stayed there and most times there Is a problem at the with check in. This time I booked for night and later had to come one day earlier so booked an extra night before the previous booking. When I checked in they could see the other booking I made and confirmed that it was the same room type and I could stay in the same room. Which seems obvious. But they told me to come back to the desk the next day to change tire keys over for the next booking. (Again a ridiculous request for a professional operation!) For some reason it is somehow impossible to join the booking in their computer system or in their own communication. Because the next morning I was sleeping in after a big night and had housekeeping banging on my door saying I had to checkout. I want happy! I went to the front desk and they couldn’t find the second booking under my name. Eventually I found a booking number and they could find it and give me the new key cards. It all seems like they are using caveman systems for booking and communication. Just another faulty towers experience there. I’m always surprised that Accor would allow them to use the Mercure name.

There was a problem with the air conditioner. And I felt the reception was little unfriendly.. However location was perfect and the room condition was also great.

The air conditioner is broken, and there’s no response to my complaint. The service is terrible, and it’s unbearably noisy.
