Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa recensioner

A wonderful and deceptively large hotel in a fantastic location in Mellieha. Room was a nice size, although there was no decent view from the window, and the twin beds were rather small, albeit comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choices. Fantastic facilities although strange the steam room and sauna are on floor -1 in the beauty zone and not near the indoor pool which is on floor 0. Bus going to the port and two islands and popeye village are metres away. Lots of restaurants nearby also. A fantastic location to see the north of the island. Enjoyed my two nights stay.

Very good hotel,that has everything from pool,spa,massage to the restaurants and bars! the service was amazing and the room really clean and with amazing view!!!

Great hotel, perfectly located, very close to the bus stop, with a direct connection to the airport and ferry terminal. The Bech is only 20 mins or so walk downhill or you can take the bus which run regularly.

Hotel was in a really good location in Mellieha - right next to the bus stop if you want to travel, plenty of really good restaurants around like Villager, and a decent enough spot if you like a bit of coastal hiking, as I do. One minor complaint is that the shower gel/shampoo is dreadful, just water with some green gloop - bring your own if you want to feel clean!

The hotel was lovely. Their swimming pool and changing rooms were located on the different floors and swimming users had to walk up/down the connecting staircases on wet feet, which we found very slippery and potentially hazardous. or use a lift which serves other hotel customers in normal clothes. And also any of the towels provided at the health club smelled like used dusters and the receptionist said she knew it and customers had to put up with the smell.

Great service at the reception and in the restaurant at breakfast, but the spa was a bit disappointing. There was no water placed out to hydrate after sauna for example, and they sent us to buy from the restaurant. The staff in the spa, well, not all of them were very kind. And the arrangement of the spa is strange. For the sauna we had to go one floor down, making wet everything and come back if we wanted to swim again. Otherwise everything was great.

I spent the first week in January here and went on to book three more weeks. There were a few problems in the second week but this was quickly sorted out by Trip.com and I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was fantastic. The junior suite was lovely with views of the city and the sea. The spa and pool section downstairs was a dream to use each time. A bus stop is right beside the hotel for getting out. Malta is easy to navigate once you get your bus pass at a shop up the road virtually opposite the hotel. The Hotel restaurant is great. Some places around the hotel also serve good food. Try the sandwiches at the “homemade” shop. The salmon salad and the salmon wrap are delicious. Mellieha is the northernmost part of Malta so it takes time getting to other places. Helpful to plan journeys with the bus schedule online if using public transport.

Excellent facilities, gym, pools 1 outdoor rooftop, 1 indoor, and another ground floor outdoor, Jacuzzis, restaurant, cocktail bar and another bar, spa treatment facility also. Staff very helpful and polite. Near bustop to travel to other parts of island and gozo island. Lot of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend, price was well worth it.
