Hotel Napoleon Memphis

This is a great hotel with nice clean rooms and comfy bed. Lovely big TV in the room with accessible HDMI port for bringing your own device. I know you don’t book into a hotel to lie and watch TV but it’s nice to catch up on things after a long day out. Location is excellent as no more than 10 min walk to downtown Beale St, and 20 mins to Sun Studios, where the magic began. Reception being renovated while we were there so not quite as functional as it should be but staff were terrific and incredibly polite. Rocky the concierge/manager was a bundle of fun and provided some great info on what to do in this great city 👍

After much research, my two sisters and I decided to stay at the Hotel Napolean for our recent girls' trip. The staff, particularly Rocky and Monte, were very attentive to our needs, which were greatly appreciated. Other positives include the lighting in the bathroom, which was the best I've ever had for make-up application, and dinner in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I do, however, wish they offered a complimentary continental breakfast.

A wonderful boutique hotel, super clean lobby, hallways, rooms. The concierge, Rocky, was attentive, and very informative on places to visit and eat. He bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the servers were spot-on with the orders, quick, and friendly. The only thing I was hoping for was a better breakfast assortment of pastries and small eats, coffees and teas, but this didn't stop me from giving a 5 star rating.

We visited Hotel Napoleon for three nights during our trip to Tennessee. It was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is close to all amenities and only a very short walk from Beale street. The decor is absolutely beautiful, the staff absolutely amazing. A special mention has to go to Rocky, the hotel concierge who made our stay absolutely faultless. Also, Si another staff member who was so willing to help. From personalised gifts in our room on arrival to the chats and laughs it is safe to say we will definitely be visiting again. Looking forward to next time, from the Irish ladies in Room 208.

On first arriving at the Napoleon, it looked promising. Lobby newly renovated was lovely but the rooms left a lot to be desired. The carpets throughout hotel needed replacing badly, at best a good clean. We had no hot water for shower, lukewarm at its best. The constant smell of frying from the kitchen below was not pleasant. The little touches showed good intentions and the welcome gift was a nice touch. Vending machines on each floor was a godsend and microwave in the lobby was helpful. THE most hospitable hotel stay I've had in many years !! The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. For the first time, in a long time, I felt like a welcome guest. This is a boutique hotel only five blocks from Beale St. It's relatively small and kind of quaint. The room was clean and neat. Mattresses were very comfortable. Towels were big and fluffy, and we even had very nice robes in the closet. The room was big enough without being too big or too small. It even had an wonderful shower. The hotel is just completing a major renovation, although I saw none of it. Our only impact from the renovation was that we missed the restaurant reopening by two days. This was not a problem, there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. I will make a point of returning to the Napoleon Hotel next time I'm in Memphis.

Great hotel, within walking distance of Beale Street. The “thank you” gift on arrival was a lovely touch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly , special call out to Rocky who was great ( we’ll be following up on those tips in NOLA and Cozumel Rocky).

I stayed here for 2 nights for work. The room was clean and spacious. The employees were kind and super helpful in answering questions of where to eat. They made an effort to attend to our needs. The only downside was that their breakfast and other dining areas remain under renovation.

The hotel is located at a central place. It is just a short walk to downtown, Beale Street, etc. It is an old buildig, but renovated and updated to a modern design. If you want to go to Graceland, only 10-15 minute drive from here. Our room was very spacious and has a modern feel. Everyting was very nice. The vanity / sink is separate from the bath and toilet. Only minor was a next door neighbour who was having a very loud phone call in the middle of the night! We had to knock on the wall, but he did not take the hint. (Not the fault of the hotel of course!) There is no breakfast included (we knew that), but there is an payed option at the hotel, but there is also a nice place very closeby, called "Memphis Chess Club". Sai from reception provided us with tips for eating and sightseeing. Thanks again. The only problem we encountered, was parking. We booked this hotel because of the parking they stated to have "on site". But we had to use the parking garage next door. This wouldn't have been a problem, if this would have worked decently. They use a system where you have to call for entering or exiting the garage. This was not working at all, but we would like to mention Sai from reception again, who tried to help us with this. Finally, we made it into and out of the garage, but we did have difficulties with the paying system, which we took up with the garage itselfs. It would be efficient if the hotel could collaborate with the parking next door. That would really upgrade the whole experience. Other than that; great hotel! We can definitely recommend. Location, cleanliness, modern, staff were all great.
