We actually stayed in Feb 2023 but had thought had done review but hadnt and cant go back further than a year. I had seen this place often as a prize on a tv show watching and so thought it looked lovely and decided to take a trip to angelsey for a short break in February and as it turned out the weather was very kind to us and we had a lovely time. Our room was on the ground floor in a corner turret which is where the bathroom was which made it quite different but lovely. The place is quite special and lovely public rooms and areas to sit and the views are quite lovely. Car park down the lower part or if there is room up near the top but either way there are entrances to get in by. The food was very nice and staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the Chateau in September 2024. The people there are so welcoming and helpful, they go the extra mile for customers. The room was so clean and comfortable with a breathtaking view across to the mountains. The food was exceptional, innovative and obviously using fresh local produce. We felt so refreshed and we’re looking forward to returning again.

Absolutely loved it! The building, gardens and views are lovely, with an interesting history. We stayed for one night but wished we could have spent a couple more. Bed was very comfortable, we had a lovely nights sleep. Food was excellent- we had an evening meal and breakfast, both were fantastic. Staff were very friendly, everyone was smiling and welcoming. I would recommend staying at this hotel in an instant!

What a fairy tale hotel with all the elegance and grandeur of an historic house. A lovely warm welcome by the staff. Be sure to have a room overlooking the estuary as we were lucky to have. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is very well located for all attractions of the region the National Trust properties either side of the Menai Bridge are not to be missed. The restaurant food was exquisite and worth the visit. The dining room in the basement does not equal the other rooms but the food was worth it. Only recommendations to the hotel would be the addition of towelling robes in the rooms. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just stayed in chateau Rhianfa in Anglesey , stunning architecture, beautiful views, amazing food , some lovely staff , however our experience was marred totally by staying in the lodge , dirty, burnt carpet , cracked tiles , required painting , cleaning , could hardly focus on the view , as the window was so dirty with huge cobwebs and dead insects on the window cill . Stayed in Elleri lodge.

We had already visited the chateau twice before in the past, with fortune enough to have the pleasure of room8 the Duchess. I wanted a special venue to propose to my partner. The hotel ensured we had room8, and an afternoon tea located on the balcony overlooking the Menai straight. It was unexpected, but the hotel management give us complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our engagement. Many thanks

Such a stunning place and location perfect. Staff friendly, but presentation of the afternoon tea was dissapointing. Tge first course was set obe pkate between 2. The sandwiches, scones,bara brith and tiny welsh cake were all served on a dinner plate while the cakes which were nothing to write home about were served nicely. The sandwiches were on the dry side. But this did not stop us having an otherwise great experience.

Such a romantic setting for our engagement. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was gorgeous with a spectacular view. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous. Thank you for making our weekend so special we will be back soon. Debbie and Dean
