Great host, lovely rooms, excellent food, a good selection of beers which are very well kept. Advisable to book a table in the restaurant in advance as it is very popular, do take note of the restaurant opening times as not open all day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Staff really friendly and managed to squeeze us in with 10 minutes notice. Pork chop was excellent and the mash was incredible. Partner really enjoyed the ribs too! Highly recommend the treacle tart for dessert, it was spot on!

Excellent meal again. Really love this place. Food was amazing and nothing is too much trouble GF friend had exactly what she asked for. The staff are great really enjoy the banter with them. Who knew puddings go into another part of your stomach so it doesn't count? Brilliant. Thank you we shall return.

Received a very warm welcome when arrived.Some might say the room was small but more tha adequet clean and everything needed Although it was Valentines weekend and the restaurant was fully booked the staff went out of their way to accomodate us and we had a most enjoyable dinner Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent We had a two night stay and very much enjoyed it in no small part thanks to the friendless of all the staff who made us feel very welcome.Very good value for money Gary Maddock

Visited with friends The Sunday lunch was exceptional great value and the service was friendly and efficient.We all had roast beef withYorkshire and 5 different vegetables. Will definitely visit again

We went for Sunday lunch and have been a couple of times to The Natterjack. Always been really impressed with service and food but last week it was a different story. The waitress was abrupt and hostile, totally not what you expect when working in a customer centred job! It's £15.50 for a roast dinner which is definitely on the pricier side. There was 5 of us and the portion of cauliflower cheese wasn't overly generous to say the least. I asked the chap at the bar for more and he said they'd charge for it, crazy! We had it come to the table and as seen in the photo, this was an extra portion.... and costed £4! Abominable. Definitely won't return when I can get better service and much better value for money elsewhere.

Had a lovely lunch for 11 of us on Sunday celebrating a special birthday. Lovely food and plenty of it, and from start to finish it went just as we hoped it would. Many thanks and we hope to be back very soon.

Really welcoming pub with fine food. The home made pies are packed with high quality meats, the fish cooked exactly right. Everything tastes fresh with tasty vegetables. The staff are just so friendly - from behind the bar to waiting staff at the table. We went two nights in a row and it was the same both nights. It seems to get quite busy on Friday night so book ahead if that's when you're going and planning to eat. Looks quite an ordinary pub from the road ...but inside it's just a lovely experience!
