We booked this place last minute as another place fell through. The booking was accepted by *********** however when we rang she had no space. I was sick with a bad case of travelers bug so booked two rooms with 2 bathrooms as my son didn’t need to share my germs. We were stuck in the park late afternoon with nowhere to stay. She offered us a family room with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. I was beyond caring and accepted her offer. We were given this room in a different place across the road. I was very grateful at this point. When we arrived we were very stressed. She put through a new booking form (not the original *********** one) which we signed. She charged us the same amount as the original booking which was two rooms with two king beds and 2 bathrooms . We got a family room which is listed for cheaper so she should have charged us for the family room. I questioned how much we paid and she was annoyed with me. It wasn’t just that but the tax and exchange rates are confusing. Anyway we paid way more than we should have. Yes she did us a favour to make up this room for us but to charge the same was not fair. The beds were clean and comfortable and the location close to town so no complaints there. It says good breakfast included. I’ve stayed in lots of places and this breakfast was way below par. I couldn’t eat the first day because I was sick but my son did. The second day we bought our own food. The choice and amount was stingy. No fresh fruit. No muesli or yoghurt. If it was a cheap hostel then fine but this is upmarket so she could do better than what was offered. Also baby size cutlery. Not sure what that was about. I feel ripped off staying here. Hospitality is a reflection of the country when you only have a short stay and this didn’t leave a nice impression. We came to Argentina to watch my other son race in The World Skate Games and support the New Zealand team.
