Globales Cala'n Bosch

Myself, wife and 3 year old daughter stayed in this hotel from the 30th May to the 7th June. The hotel is lovely, very clean and in a very good location with access to a lovely beach and close to the Marina. We stayed on the 4th floor with a sea view room (see image) and what a great view it was. The room was a decent size and very clean (this was also cleaned every day which was really appreciated), we had a little mini fridge and a safe which we didnt use as the hotel was wanting to charge over 30 euros to use this. The food was decent not always hot but it was okay, always plenty of choices so can't complain and this was always labelled in English as well as Spanish, Italian and French. Beer, wine, soft drinks and water on tap at meal times which was very handy and also coffee in the mornings. The cleaners, waiters and bar staff are amazing and such a credit to this hotel who are constantly working so hard and always with a smile, special mention to Ian who always went out of his way at meal times especially with the children (Thank you). The hotel has 2 pools the big main pool which was constantly busy and the children's pool with slides and advertised as a splash pool but whilst we was there this was not turned on once all week which made the slides impossible for my daughter or anyone to slide down unless you poured a bucket of water down which helped a little. The biggest downside to this hotel is the fact that the English tourists are made to feel unwelcome at times by the animation team which is by a company called Bravo, they do not make the effort with the English guests and this is noticeable as soon as you arrive as all the English guests recieve a Blue wrist band and the Italian and French guests recieve a Orange/White wrist band and also recieve a big welcome upon arrival and are dropped off at the entrance of the hotel and not across the road like we was with 3 suitcases, pushchair and a 3 year old. The Bravo team are made up of Italian and French which was very upsetting and frustrating for myself and my 3 year old daughter who was desperate to get involved and even though she would get on stage and dance not once did the team speak to her or make the effort until the very last night, everything was always explained in French or Italian apart from the odd English song. We did have 2 really good evenings when a really good female group came and sang for the evening and also a circus duo act which were both very enjoyable. TUI stated that this hotel had a kids club and kids mini disco which is true apparently but how can you send your daughter to a kids club or mini disco when she doesn't speak Italian or French and none of the Bravo team speak English, as mentioned earlier if your wrist band was Orange or White this was a Bravo wrist band hence the reason you would be ignored if it was Blue. The issue I have is that we feel this has been advertised incorrectly on the TUI website because we had no splash park, definitel

Hotel is in a great location, very close to marina, clean and comfortable rooms, we were poolside fantastic view of pool & sea , food was great plenty of choice although we ate out in the evenings, pool area lovely plenty of sun beds, friendly staff, would definitely return to stay at this hotel

I am not the kind of person who normally writes hotel reviews but this one is definitely worth writing. You will see a lot of British people comment that this hotel is geared for Italians and French and they are right the bravo team are employed by bravo to do exactly that and if the entertainment not being in English this probably isnt the place for you. However the hotel team are fantastic. Ania who works for the hotel entertainment team made every effort to include us. The bar team, Vanessa, Carlos, Patricia and alba are polite friendly and put every effort into giving you the best experience. The cleaners are great and towels are changed daily if you follow instructions and put them into the bath. Food is what you would expect for typical all inclusive, you absolutely get what you pay for. Couple of bits missing off all inclusive like slushies for kids and ice creams on the bar but these aren't game changers. The location is brilliant and the area is beautiful. Keep an open mind and you will have a brilliant holiday.

My husband and I have visited this hotel for 14 years now, we absolutely love it but this time we did not get the room we requested even though i sent 3 emails, i got no response from them and when we arrived we were told that if we wanted a higher room we would have to pay a supplement of €35 a day if they had responded to my email to tell me that we could have sorted that out before we flew, so we didn’t bother because we didn’t want to use any of our spending money, so next year we will definitely sort that out through a travel agent, we had one major problem that was the bravo team they were the worst ones we have ever seen they hardly ever spoke English and a couple of times they asked us to join in with the activities and we declined to do so and the activities were very repetitive it was the same activities every day and at times the music was so loud that my husband and i could not speak to each other or listen to our music though our earphones, the food at times was still not very hot but we are used to that having been 14 times before, the 2 bar staff both called Vanessa are the best we have known them both a long time they are fantastic, Michael from the restaurant is also great to he is so nice, Luciano from reception was great as well he was so helpful and we met another guy called Eban who was lovely as well, Julio the maintenance man on a morning was so helpful every day he was there he was brilliant helping me and when we did complain about our sink and toilet seat they were both replaced the same day one day the cleaners did not clean our room even though we had put the right tag on our door but it was not a major issue, we will definitely be visiting the hotel again next year as we love it so much.

Unfortunately I have to tend to agree with other reviews I have seen from English people, I would avoid this place if English. Although it has a beautiful location thats totally spoilt by the fact the hotel is mostly Italian and French people and the entertainment is catered to them. The rooms are small but clean and mostly tidy, we did find a socket hanging off the wall and general wear and tear in the bathroom, but apart from that they were ok. There’s food is very hit and miss the breakfast is definitely the best meal of the day, the pasta is good, I tried some other food but found it was barley warm most the time. I only met around 4 other English people here who all felt disappointed with this hotel, one who was even cutting there holiday a week short! I think that tui need to be more honest in there disxription that if you spend your hard earned money to come here as a Brit you really aren’t catered for.

It's been 10 years since we visited this hotel but were not disappointed. A brilliant location, friendly staff and beautifully clean rooms. The wifi was excellent. Good sized pool, separate play pool for children and decent entertainment. Small white sandy beach literally on the doorstep. The food was the real stand-out, though. Huge amounts of colourful choice delivered to an extremely high standard. The freshly dished up pasta was truly exceptional. They could do with food labels on both sides of the display to help when crowded. Another improvement is the system with the in-room safe - nowhere to leave your safe key when swimming as they wouldn't take it reception. Safes with a personal code would be better. Excellent stay though and would definitely return a third time.
