Seth Isla Paraiso

I had the most amazing time at this hotel. I broke my shoulder a week before travelling, but 10 nights at Seth Isla Paraiso gave me the perfect opportunity to convalesce. It was a lovely, scenic spot and I really liked the apartment with sea views. The staff were exceptional; they offered such a friendly and personalised service. Everything was kept very clean, thanks to the efficient cleaning staff. I went half board, and the buffet offered tasty and varied food. I would love to return and I highly recommend a stay here.

Now the usual review would be on the resort the hotel, the food etc etc. However to start this off our son had an anaphylactic shock in a local restaurant to the hotel… we ran to the hotel to be given first class service in what was the worst time in my whole entire life. Our four year old boy was reacting to egg which was given from elsewhere. She was fantastic, jef2 Frances was fantastic the director of the hotel was amazing, even meeting us from the taxi when we got back to resort. Honestly amazing people who care about there guests. The rooms were what we needed for a sunny week in Spain, we cooked a few nights, we did go half board but to be honest we ate out most of the week as the children wanted to eat earlier. There is a box of inflatables so you get them and put back at end of the stay. We loved this idea and had a bucket, spade And bits and pieces we borrowed for a beach day. Also a giant whale followed by a flamingo as well… when the kids got bored we swapped it. The pools are three large ones I’m sure one is salt water we only went in this one as the children loved it and close to our room. The breakfast was good they showed us around every day to tell us what we could and couldn’t eat for allergies. This place came highly recommended for that. I also have to note there is a tiny oven in the room this is helpful because we made pizzas with fresh bread from across the road. If you want a nice place for your family with lovely people, and a really nice location with stunning views this is the place. Menorca was stunning and we will return the fact the staff were so reactive about our son and everyone asked us how he was and checked even a few days later it was a traumatic time for us all but they really helped us. We can never repay you for what the lady on reception did that day. And we will forever be grateful you saved our son’s life. How can you. Ever thank someone enough for that. Lorna, Dave. We (3 adults, 17 and 8 year old) really enjoyed our week stay at this hotel. We stayed self catering as there are so many lovely restaurants nearby so can’t comment on the food. The apartment itself was clean, fresh towels available when needed. The aircon is only in the living areas but keeping the curtains shut in the bedrooms and doors open during the day kept them cool. There was no lock on our bathroom door. We were on the top floor overlooking the main pool. Had beautiful sea views from the balcony. The sliding door was quite stiff to open and close. On our first day we noticed the fridge wasn’t working. Mentioned it to reception and it was immediately replaced with a new larger one. The pools were lovely. We used them towards the end of the day to cool off from exploring or going to the beach. The sun beds surrounding the pool were covered in towels by 7am each day. (No idea why people need a sun bed for every child when they don’t use them.) However we did not have trouble finding empty sun beds later in the day. We borrowed a parasol that was left behind in reception to go to the beach. The beach is a short walk away from the hotel. Down hill on the way there so uphill on the way back. The bus stop is around the corner from the hotel and the buses are very reasonably priced. The downside being they don’t run that frequently. There is a supermarket across the road that stocks most things including a bakery and holiday souvenirs. We would happily stay here again, friendly, helpful staff and a great location.

Wow, what a holiday! From arriving just before lunchtime, we were welcomed by the reception team and allowed to check in immediately. The room was spacious and had the 2 separate bedrooms as described. All very clean too! The staff on the resort were all amazing! Manolo in the restaurant always welcomed our children and was so nice with them. The entertainment team with Isabella and the other girls were fantastic and the kids kept asking to go to the mini disco and have their face painted. They still play the music back at home now and remember the dance moves! All the entertainment was great, the games room could probably do with an update but would probably by busier so not an issue for us. The restaurant catered for all tastes including local Menorca food which was a nice addition. The staff all kept on top of tidying and managed numbers very well even at the busier times. We even had a breakfast pack made for us for our early flight home at no extra cost, phenomenal. We loved having a late stroll to the beach after evening meals, wasn't far, just be prepared for all the stairs and hills! Will definitely come back here, the staff made the holiday far better than we imagined and we've had some very happy memories here!

Absolutely loved our stay here, as a family of 3 (young) kids and 2 adults. The apartments are relatively basic but very clean with a great little kitchen and balcony. We were lucky enough to get a sea view, which overlooked the fabulous bay. They apartments were cleaned pretty much every day and the grounds were spotless. Staff very friendly. The main pool is anazing, with a gradient on one end to allow toddlers to play safely. There is also a baby pool right next to it which is perfect for infants. Plenty of loungers available so we never went short, although some families did reserve good spots early doors. There is another pool at the far end of the resort which is much quieter, deeper, but generally not as pleasant in my opinion. The terrace above the apartments offer incredible views, but seem largely unused, which is strange and a shame as they are gorgeous. The surround resort is great. No main resort centre but plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, including two very close by which are both great. The beach is absolutely incredible, with crystal calm waters and lovely gold sand. Only thing lacking perhaps is a shop on the beach to buy ice creams and toys - you have to climb up a good few steps to get to nearest shop. All in, we loved this place.

This was our second trip in 2 years. Last year we had a large 2 bed in the main block Ground floor and next to the main facilities which we loved being able to come and go so easily. This year we booked a standard 2 bed and was in the block by the small pool but actually we loved that too as had good views and other than a slightly smaller kitchen space and 2nd bedroom it was still a great apartment. Beds are on the hard side. Last year we were half board This year bed and breakfast as there's many great restaurants nearby but you can eat in the hotel with a 3 night voucher which is good value. Love the breakfasts here so much variety, one of our party is coeliac and needs a gluten free diet the restaurant staff and chef were really good with bringing gf bread, rolls, biscuits, cakes and explained what he could eat at each meal. Pools aren't heated but you get used to it. Yes some sun beds are broken and could be replaced but there are plenty overall. Location is fab (reconsider the resort overall if you have mobility issues) and it's spotlessly clean. They had more evening entertainment this year which made for a good atmosphere on site, daytime activities weren't quite as visible but did seem to increase as half term hit. Agree with the games room needing a massive investment that'd be my only gripes as to the main hotel. Given the good value this hotel is we intend to return again in future.
