We had a lovely stay at Eagle's Nest Cabin. There were so many amenities from the cozy beds, recliners in the living room, a well stocked kitchen inside and great views with chairs around the fire pit and table and chairs on the patio. The walk to the river access and to the fire pit takes some strong legs, but worth every breath. The river was shallow enough to walk across and loved sitting in a lawn chair with our feet in the water. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary and close enough to Steelville to make a quick run to the grocery story and close to local floating options.

This property is AMAZING! This is one of my favorite vacation rentals we have stayed in! Susan was super responsive! Place was sooo clean and neat and has everything you could need! Views are amazing. We will be back! Thank you!!

A great relaxing getaway
Our group of 4 college buddies needed a place to meet up, relax, visit and catch up. What a wonderful place to do so. The cabin was just what we needed with plenty of space inside and out. Everything was clean and very well stocked. Unfortunately the river was at flood stage and we had to stay out, it did not ruin the view and tranquility. Thank you for offering up your place and we definitely look forward to coming back again.

Quiet, Clean and Cozy

Hidden Gem on the River
This property is amazing! Well stocked! Clean. Tastefully decorated. I truly believe it reflects the host feelings about this lovely home. You will not be unhappy while staying. We just can’t wait to come back. We love the area and feel blessed to have found this home!!! Thank you, Susan!

Absolutely lovely property and host
This house is an absolutely lovely location on the river, quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive into town when needed. The house itself is wonderfully maintained and equipped, and the host extremely responsive to all communications. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here, playing in the river, enjoying a campfire at the view in the evening, and all the attention to detail in the house and surroundings. We look forward to coming back again!
