For those who wish to snowmobile or UTV, Nordvann sits on the Iron County Snowmobile/UTV trail#8 and grants you access to over 300 miles of trails in both WI and UP! The large level lots allow for plenty of parking spaces for trailers, UTVs and sleds. If you're a Cross country skier or a hiker, the MECCA trailhead is a mere 5-minute drive to groomed trails. For bikers, the Heart of Vilas trail starts in Mercer and offers over 50 miles of paved bike paths with small bridges and winding trails. Great location to many ski hills: Scenic 35 min drive to several ski hills, including Mt Zion, Snowriver, Big Powerhorn in UP and Whitecap and Minocqua Winterpark in WI.
