Tropicana Motel

Room was clean, adequate hot water for shower. Small problem with road upgrade for light rail- some noisy roadworks done overnight. Won't be forever.

Clean room. However, a lot of noise from passing cars during both day and night.

If reception service hours can prolong fro 08:00 to 20:00, it would be more convenient for tourist.

The stay was very nice if i am sincerel. It has pool, microwave, etc

This is the second time we have stayed here( that says something). It is a good price and location for the Broadbeach Blues Festival. The bathroom is spacious. We had the room for three people ( the same room as last time). It had a fridge which we always appreciate and shops close by. There is some cutlery and crockery to use for breakfast saving us money. We would stay again.

Our stay here was OK but not brilliant. Although we had paid for the room we got an email about two days before saying if we did not pay the $100 bond our booking could be cancelled. We tried unsuccessfully for hours to contact them by phone and in the end the hotel we were staying in up the coast managed to contact them on our behalf and pay the bond. We were travelling all over Australia and this was the only hotel that wanted a bond before we even arrived and what for I am not quite sure! We were told which room we were in and that it would be open with the key inside. What happened if someone just helped themselves to stuff in the room and we got charged from the bond? Parking was a bit of a nightmare as there are not enough spaces for the rooms, we managed to squeeze our car into one of the spaces but were constantly worried about damage. Within walking distances to lots of shops, bars and restaurants and of course the beach. Room was OK although the carpets could do with replacing. It was not one of the best places we stayed in but it served a purpose for 2 nights. We got the bond back within 24 hours but were not happy about having to pay this. Would not stay here again.

For the festive season, this is possibly 1 of the cheapest deals available!! It was excellent none the less, had all needs meet & was expecting due to this time of year the deposit to take longer to process but it didn't so everything has worked out very well here & it's a location perfectly based near the shops - public transport too. So 100% recommend staying here

Stayed for 2 night at this motel, communication with staff was very clear & easy via email & txt. The room is exceptionally clean & despite being on the highway, not too noisy at all. I felt safe as a solo traveler & everything I needed was within a 15 minute walk. I would recommend it to anyone needing a quick budget stay in Broad Beach. Only things to note was no duvet on the bed, I used a blanket from the cupboard & the bedside lamp needed a new light bulb.
