Booked in for a 4 night stay, arrived just as the office was about to close and was given key to which we made our way to the room. On arrival, found room in a condition that was far less than satisfactory. Bathroom was covered in black mould all around the door to shower, up the tiled walls, hanging off the soap holder and shower head. rest of room, also less than the standard I have come to know from Accor properties in the past, unclean kitchen area, and nothing to clean with. Called office but was out of hours. Next morning, office sent maintenance and cleaners to room, made some attempt to clean but they then agreed to move us into an upgraded room. An apology in kind offered over the phone but no compensation in any way offered for the sub standard room we had for the first night, ( all 4 nights had been paid for prior to our arrival). On check out, again, no apology offered for the poor room or any mention how to compensate for the one night that was extremely poor. Saying that, there was no follow up from management to see if we were happy with the new room we were given, of which thankfully we were. Don't think we will be back even though the location is convenient and grounds are quite nice.
